Isanook is a great place to stay. The facility is super clean, the pool and gym are awesome, and the staff is excellent. That said, our jacuzzi -- yes we paid extra for that room -- malfunctioned and began to smoke. So, the jacuzzi addition was a flop. I am also unsure why the bed is made the way it is. Can't say enough about the Centura Grande. Large rambling Victorian style hotel with acres of gardens featuring decades old topiaries. We've been returning several times over the years and it never loses its charm. It is family friendly with a playground and activities for the kids. You can swim in three pools, lounge in the sun poolside or on the extensive lawns or hit the beach of the Gulf of Thailand. Staff members are friendly, smiling and competent.
