"We stayed at the Brace of Pheasants for one night and it was really lovely. The room was big, airy and beautifully furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was lovely. We ate dinner in the pub and it was absolutely delicious. I am coeliac and Matt, the owner, was very knowledgeable when helping me to decide what to have. There were several choices for me and I can thoroughly recommend the lamb. My husband was on crutches when we stayed and the staff were very thoughtful and helpful. We would very much like to stay again if we get the opportunity."

"The cottage was lovely in an idyllic village, handy for the busses. The garden was a sun trap and was lovely to sit in but the grass needed cutting. We felt the bathroom needed some TLC but overall the perfect place for a holiday away from it all."

"What a wonderful stay we had at tis beautiful, spacious and extremely well finished property in the heart of the Dorset countryside! The property is everything we expected from the listing and more. Very thoughtfully laid out, hugely spaciaous, with every amenity you could ask for, and crucially for our party the accommodation is all on the ground floor, fantastic for the members of our party who have mobility issues. The location is surrounded with gorgeous rolling countryside on all sides and incredily quiet and peaceful, yet very conveniently located within a short drivable distance of shops, days out, beauty spots and beaches. Katie and Oliver were wonderful and responsive hosts, ensuring that we knew exactly how to contact them in case of issues (there were none), while leaving us to enjoy a peaceful and private holiday. I cannot recommend the barn highly enough!"
