"The Tailoring" a thread of history in the heart of the country
**Welcome to “La Sartoria” – Your historic and cozy retreat in the heart of Centuripe** We look forward to welcoming you and helping you enjoy an unforgettable stay in Sicily! Michaela, the owner, will handle your initial contact, ensuring that all your needs are addressed right from the start. Throughout your stay, we’ll be at your complete disposal for anything you need, providing discreet yet always attentive service. **What We Love About the Property** "La Sartoria" is a standalone apartment in an early 20th-century house that was once home to a renowned tailor shop. The restoration, passionately overseen by Michaela, has enhanced its historic charm while maintaining impeccable modern comfort. The apartment is spacious, bright thanks to its large windows, and tastefully furnished in traditional Sicilian style. The private terrace is the ideal spot for al fresco breakfasts or relaxing with an evening aperitif. Additionally, we offer a dedicated space, in partnership with “Sicily Divide,” for storing bikes and scooters—perfect for cycling enthusiasts. **What You’ll Love About the Area** Centuripe is an authentic Sicilian gem—a small village with a historic soul and extraordinary scenery. You’ll enjoy spectacular views stretching from Mount Etna to the Ionian Sea, immersing yourself in unspoiled, relaxing nature. The peaceful pace of life and the genuine hospitality of its residents will make you feel right at home, far from the chaos and hustle and bustle. The village is ideal for leisurely strolls and for discovering stone courtyards and picturesque views. **Tourist Attractions in Centuripe and the Surrounding Area** The town preserves unique historical landmarks: from the Augusteum to Villa Corradino with its mausoleum, from the Dogana to the ancient thermal baths, and the archaeological museum, which houses artifacts from the Sican, Greek, and Roman eras. In the surrounding area, you can visit Mount Etna—a must-see destination for excursions—and the spectacular ruins of Piazza Armerina. Centuripe is known as the “balcony of Sicily” for its 360-degree panoramic view surrounded by nature. **What Makes Our Property Unique** "La Sartoria" offers guests exclusive accommodations with three bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds, and one with a sofa bed), a spacious living room, a fully equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with a washing machine. Free Wi-Fi is available so you can stay connected at all times. Breakfast can be enjoyed on the terrace, in the tranquility and privacy of the apartment reserved entirely for you, ensuring a peaceful and independent stay for families or groups of up to 5 people. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed. We place great importance on confidentiality and respect for your privacy: you’ll be free to enjoy your stay with complete independence, while we’ll be available behind the scenes to provide any support you need. **Useful Information** The accommodations are located at Via Umberto 46, the town’s main street, which has no parking spaces (stopping is permitted for loading and unloading only).
