I would have liked another blanket on the bed as the covering on it was on the thin side. And as others have mentioned the walls are also thin. "If all you're doing in Yellowstone, like I normally do, is looking for animals in the Lamar Valley, then there really isn't a more economical place than the Alpine Motel in Cooke City. Is it the Ritz? Absolutely not but if all you're concerned about is a safe, comfortable place to spend the night then you can't beat its cost-value ratio."

"Dont let the building fool you! The owners of Oyo have done a fabulous job of renovating a budget hotel to provide clean and up to date rooms. I LOVE that the rooms have laminate floor, not carpet; clean bedspreads, bathroom, everything just great. Building itself very quiet, though noises from highway and trains might bother some. Highly recommend as a stopover hotel. Very impressed."

"These cottages were very nicely updated. The day before we arrived they called us and said they had a last minute cancellation. They upgraded us to a nicer cabin for free! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was quiet and great view of river and the mountains. Both check in and check out staff were very pleasant and helpful. Great stay. Great customer service. Location close to shopping and food."

"All-in-all, the facility was great, no complaints at all! But the real star of the show was the Staff, Michael was above and beyond the kindest person we met along our journey! (We were relocating from Idaho to Iowa) He was so friendly / Helpful, amidst all the chaos of moving across the country, it was great to meet a very friendly person / group of people! "

"We had to roll in late, so we called. The desk person said they taped the key to the outside of the office door. It's Deer Lodge, so I assume that is pretty safe. The inside of the room have been updated and are cute and it was very clean! (that's my biggie!) The outside of the building obviously is old and still needs updating. But, it was good for a 6 hour nights sleep before we had to head on to the next location. "

"It was only one night stay for us. It's a cute cabin. Beautiful view in the fron of the cabin, outdoor cookout site and seats at the small porch to llok the mountainview.. They have a full kitchen except microwave. There is no TV, and no wifi in room, so we actually spent a quality time without any social media distraction. Wifi is only available near the main office. "This was the perfect place for our small family to stay while exploring Yellowstone The location was great, with the market directly across the street. My husband and daughter loved taking morning walks to see the elk and deer around town. The cabin was fully stocked with everything we needed. Great experience overall. "
