Golden Plover's Cabin

**NO WATER DURING THE WINTER ( DECEMBER - MAY) WATER CAN BE TAKEN FROM THE LAKE BY BREAKING THE ICE. IF INTERESTED PLEASE SEND AN INQUIRY FOR AVAILABILITY**
Our waterfront cottages are a popular destination for fishing enthusiasts! An excellent spot for families and experienced anglers who want to get away and spend time on the lake. The lake is part of the Government of Ontario's Fish Stocking Program and overflowing with a variety of sport fish!
Our cottage faces Crown Land and has its own fire pit with a magnificent sunrise view. Self contained with fully equipped kitchens and three piece bathrooms. We do supply charcoal grills, bring your own charcoal. We supply dish soap, but please bring paper towels, toilet paper, your own linens, bedding, and pillows.

Our house rules: no smoking, no parties or events. Dogs permitted (Max. 2 dogs). Do not leave your pet unattended and please clean up after them.
This reservation has a moderate cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date. A 100% refund is provided for travelers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travelers cancelling 14-30 days prior to check-in. No refunds are provided for travelers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.

Fishing destination

Great walking access'to the water! A bit of a ride to boat launch and town! Wi Fi was spotty at best!. Other than that, things were as advertised!

Best Hosts Ever!!

Cozy cottage with great amenities. Beautiful view of lake. Easy swimming with shallow sandy area - great for kids. Amazing fishing and wildlife sightings. But the best part is the AMAZING HOSTS! Pauline, LeeAnn and all the others make you feel right at home. We can’t wait to go back next year!!!

Vrbo made a mistake of one day on the calendar but owners were very nice to accommodate us. Family and Pets were welcomed no fuss, very good family friendly. Good fishing, nice dock but boat launch in town. Thank you
