"The hosts were absolutely incredible from the moment we booked till the moment we left - they went above and beyond! Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel so at home and comfortable. The house was fantastic and so easy to get everywhere by bus or walking. Beach and playgrounds! The kids loved playing in the pool and the sandpit and the little houses. We had such a lovely stay - thanks so much both! Would definitely recommend!"

"Stayed at this property while in town for a work conference. The Congress Center is a close walk, which was perfect for us. You will need Uber, bus or trolley to get into Lisbon for a lot of sight seeing. The flat is laid out in genuine Portuguese style as our hosts explained. There was a lot of space. The garden is lovely. The hosts are delightful and full of great recommendations."

"Booked this villa for a big family holiday to celebrate a 40th birthday. Paulo made the booking process so easy with same day replies to all our questions leading up to the holiday, handy tips and being so accommodating to our requests even during our stay. The villa had something for everyone. With the heated pool, jacuzzi, games room and lovely local beaches - we had the best time! About 30/40 mins from Lisbon - super easy to book Ubers. We're so glad we treated ourselves to the private...

"The villa was located in an upscale neighborhood close to several restaurants and stores. The only disappointing aspect was that only two of the five bedrooms had air conditioners and it was very warm during our July stay—room fans would have been helpful. The host Alice was nice and friendly. We were a group of 11 and the pool and ping pong table was enjoyable for the children."

"Sofia’s home is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. The views are incredible and the heated pool was an absolute bonus. It’s a short walk to the beach, to town and to a number of different restaurants in varying price ranges. The house was clean and the house manager was fantastic and a great resource. And having a games room was fun! Very clean and comfortable and well furnished. Only a 30-40 minute drive into Lisbon but also within half an hour of Sesimbra, TimeOut Market etc."

"We stayed for two weeks. The vila exceeded our expectations. It was very well equipped in the kitchen. Lots of towels for the pool and bathrooms. The owner took care of any concerns promptly. The area is very quiet but with easy access by car to the beach, restaurants etc. Having English tv was a nice extra. Would definitely recommend for families or couples traveling together as there is lots of space to spread out."

The location was great as we could easily get to the main city or the beach each day. Teresa was super helpful and provided us with all the information we needed. "Very nice property if a little dated, limited air conditioning & showers over baths. Plenty of space, bedrooms were good size & layout was excellent. Pool & bbq areas are very good ‘ garden is nice. You need a car for the area … groceries a mile away, small local coffee shops in walking distance. Beach 2+ miles … is a real find, has plenty of character & is beautiful especially in evening time, has some decent shack like restaurants with lots of character, it’s a working beach where fishermen...
