Cenote Cristal

This was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in Cancun. The rooms were dirty, the furniture was old, worn out, and broken, and we found roaches in both the bedroom and the bathroom. The overall condition of the hotel was unacceptable, and it did not match the standards that were advertised. I would not recommend staying here and definitely would not return.

I initially had a stay for 2 weeks here... 5 days in, I cancelled my stay and went elsewhere. This was all because the food was mediocre and not at the level of an all inclusive resort in which we pay a lot to come to and enjoy. The buffets consisted of a bunch of fried foods, lunch meats, salads, and some prepared foods. Pools were ok, but the swim up bars were always congested and only bottom shelf drinks were available. It also seemed to be more of a local's resort as well. If the Oasis would up their level of gastronomy to some of their top level competitors, I think that would make all the difference.
