"The hotel is an 18 century well-maintained mansion with a beautiful garden. It’s more for ceremonies than receptions than accommodation. However the rooms are clean and it was a nice experience to us to see an Italian style wedding ceremony. It’s 10-15 minutes drive to Polignano a mare. "

The service is excellent and you’re just a blocks away from the sea and the train station, Couple that with the amazing rooftop breakfast and the fact that if you really wanted to, you could actually walk to the airport, (I have) and you’ve got all the bases covered! We had a wonderful experience at the Nicolaus Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we felt safe and well taken care of. The free shuttle from the airport was a huge plus and made our arrival stress-free.
The room was spacious enough for our family, which was a pleasant surprise, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – we all slept so well. Even the little things were thoughtfully done – we absolutely loved the soap!
Now, the breakfast… hands down the best we’ve ever had at a hotel. There were so many choices, from fresh fruits and pastries to hot dishes and local specialties – something for everyone, and everything was delicious.
We also appreciated that there were plenty of good food options just a short walk up the road, which made dining out super convenient.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely return. Highly recommend!"

Had an early start for a flight when we were leaving and they organised an airport transfer and left a ‘breakfast to go’ in our fridge which was great.
