This private 150-acre retreat on the shores of beautiful Lac Cayamant features 1,600 feet of sandy beachfront, a direct view of the stunning Mont Cayamant, and a fully fenced property. Perfect for weddings, family reunions, or corporate events, the estate includes five charming cottages that can accommodate over 30 guests. Only 1h30 from Ottawa!

Ideal for sports camps, corporate retreats, or special celebrations, Sunshine Lake Estate offers the ultimate blend of privacy, recreation, and natural beauty.



Guest Access:

You will have exclusive access to the 5 cottages on this property, and the outdoor amenities listed above are part of this private Estate (sauna, tennis court, multiple docks and many more).

A code for the lockbox to access the key will be sent to you the day before your arrival.

Unforgettable wedding weekend!

This property was exactly what we had in mind and the host, Tony was incredible. A lot of our family and friends were able to spend the night - some even the weekend - which made it all that much special. Perfect location and so many possibilities! It made for a weekend we will never forget.

Resort like Getaway

The property was absolutely amazing, Tony was excellent in bringing us up to speed with the property. Tennis court, volleyball, soccer nets, basketball court, and so much space! You'll never run out of activities or things to do while there. I would stay here 100x over. Thanks for having us Tony!

Amazing oasis

We were a group of 17 people ranging in age from 3-60. The property is perfect for multiple family use. With many amenities and activities to enjoy, it was an amazing chance to get away and spend time with family but gave everyone the privacy and space they needed to do there own thing. The owner was amazing to coordinate with, the property was clean and well maintained and the kitchen was fully stocked for serving large groups. The water front is clean and large, the dock is large enough for people to sit on and there is plenty to do around the property as well. I would recommend this for anyone but especially for large groups looking to get away.

Another wonderful experience

This is the 3rd time we rented this resort, and it was another great experience. The amenities are wonderful and the owner (Tony) is very accommodating. It has everything you need and is a beautiful spot. Look forward to renting it again next year :)

Perfect space for our little wedding!

We are so happy to have found Toni's property to host our small wedding. The scenery was absolutely stunning and we had all the equipment needed to make the day go smoothly. We were able to provide most of our friends and family with accommodations, which was an added bonus! All our guests were raving about how perfect everything was. Toni was flexible with our needs and a pleasure to work with and we would definitely visit again!

Unbelievable Spot - Paradise

This place is truly a must see as no pictures do it justice. On the acres of land there are several cottages, nicer than most homes. The grounds are large and perfect for gatherings and sports with a basketball/tennis court and tons of flat land for grass sports. Great Lake with a shallow sandy beach perfect for our young ones. We also caught tons of bass :) Everything is stocked and stocked some more with tons of toys, life jackets, paddle boats and sports equipment. We can’t thank Tony enough as he makes it obvious he wants others to enjoy this piece of paradise. He was super friendly and very easy to communicate with. Lac Cayamant is also quite neat with a walking trail to a lookout on top of an small elevation. Really nice bonus for a cottage retreat. Best cottage trip with the family yet and we rent year after year.

30th Birthday

We couldn't have chosen a better place to celebrate a 30th birthday with friends and family! Everything was well kept and fully equipped. From, towels and sleeping bags, to propane and firewood and everything inbetween, nothing was overlooked. The Lake Estate!! We had a spectacular stay!!

So we hear from the neighbours that they call this place The Estate on the Lake. If you are looking for privacy for your family or group, this is the place. And so many activities to partake in. We played tennis, soccer, went hiking, boated, kayaked, canoed, swam, lay on the floating dock and more!! There is a great fire pit to sit around at night. Our extended family slept in 3 different cottages. They were all well equipped and clean!! Tony was a great host and responded quickly when we had one issue. He sent a handyman and all was taken care of promptly.. We will be back!!!

Excellent!!!!!

This is my second year renting this resort, and it was just as fantastic as the first year! The accomodations are great, the amenities are top notch, and the owner is very kind and accomodating. The pontoon was a lot of fun, and you have everything you need for a great time. My family and my extended family are looking forward to rent the cottage next year. I highly recommend this resort. Wonderful Experience

Our family reunion at Sunshine Resort on Lake Cayamant was amazing and a huge, huge, success! Every family member (ranging in age from 12 to 87 year olds and from three different countries) commented on how beautiful and perfect the place was. The separate cottages provided personal space while the main house brought on a whole new meaning of togetherness for meals, music, games and sharing of stories and laughter. Of course there were endless activities day and night - from boating, kayaking, playing tennis, hiking, and sitting by the campfire. Thank you Tony. You answered my many questions before the reunion and acted quickly to my questions during the reunion. Our week at Lac Cayamant was most memorable and special and to be treasured. An Unbelievable Property, Exceptional Cottages, Fantastic Owner

It is not very often you come across a property that completely exceeds your expectations in every way. The quality of the construction of all four cottages and the many out buildings is remarkable, the beautiful wood floors, the windows, the doors, the fireplaces, the gourmet kitchen and the layout of the property is unbelievable. The attention to detail around every corner left us amazed every day of our week long stay. We stayed during an extremely cold Christmas/New Year's holiday but we were warm and cozy thanks to the great heating system and cozy fireplace. Even during the winter months this property has so much to offer. Kids loved tobogganing down the many hills, snowshoeing, cross country skiing on the lake and trails, ice skating on the lake and playing hockey in the small village of Cayamant at the brand new outdoor rink fully equipped with a heated shack. The cottages offer many gathering places to play games, watch TV from the very comfy couches, play ping pong, piano and to enjoy the beautiful surroundings by looking out the many expansive windows. This is truly a one-of-a-kind experience that will be cherished by the families who gathered here to enjoy nature while being in paradise!! We can not thank Tony enough for creating an exceptional environment that can be shared with others.

High quality buildings. Great sandy beach. Crystal water. Lots of paddle boats.

Reunion. Five families, all related, had separate buildings to let babies sleep. Big living room, kitchen, dining to hold all 15 when we got together. Clean. Lots of beds and supplies. Good BBQS. Great fire pit at nightime. Beautiful views. Magical loons. Big fish stories.

Very charming!

The cottage grounds are charming and extremely well-kept! We held a small family reunion (5 families) with ample space to spare. The accommodations are divided into multiple little cottages allowing the families to have their own personal time if need be. The private beach was the favorite spot for the little ones allowing for easy supervision on the dock. I would highly recommend this property and plan to return annually with the family. Thank you!

Great family vacation destination!

Review #1 by grandma (59): Our family of 26 people enjoyed our time very much! The property and facilities are very beautiful. Many available sport activities are included in the rental. Very private with the gated entrance. Beautiful view with swimming suitable for all ages. Fishing was very successful, off the dock or in the lake at large. The games room and living Room fit comfortably our entire group. A large kitchen with handy dishwasher and 6 burner gas stove with large oven makes food preparation easy. 2 fridges gave ample cooling with a 3rd 'drink' frig on the BBQ deck. Rain or shine, you can enjoy the property.. The laundry facilities were greatly appreciated! Numerous comfortable beds available. The drive north is picturesque ! It's a destination we would like to return to! Review #2 by son-in-law (34) - We loved this property on Lac Cayamant! We came with our extended family of 10 adults and 16 children (ranging in age from 1-15) and there was always something to do. Whether we were sitting by the dock watching the kids play on the beach, or lounging on the lawn overlooking the lake, our entire time was filled with memories and joy. Some of the things we especially loved were the 4x4 Kubota utility vehicle, the pontoon boat which we rented from Tony, the sunsets, the water toys, the fishing (off the dock and out in the lake - we caught a lot of bass and pike), the tennis/basketball/hockey court and the rackets we could borrow, the laundry facilities, the outside and inside space, the outdoor games (bean bag toss, bocce ball, frisbee, etc.), the fire pit overlooking the lake, the large rooms in the main cottage for late night gatherings, the two bbqs and plenty of fridge space, the big screens, the satellite, the wifi, the ensuite off of the massive master bedroom in the main cottage, the bunk house for the rambunctious ones and the privacy. We were also thankful for the opportunity to contact the cottage owner with any and all questions/concerns. He was always quick to respond and very helpful. There were plenty of things to keep us active and plenty of opportunities for rest and relaxation as well. We drove from Ontario (7 hours away) in order to stay in a place where we could all be together for a week at the cottage without stepping on each other's toes. We found the perfect place on Lac Cayamant and it's definitely a place we would return to in the future. Review #3 - by grandson (7) - It was awesome. When can we go back?

Fantastic get away! Amazing location, great ammenities, and an awesome owner!

It was by far the best family get away! We were a group of 30 and it was great. The location was fantastic. The owner was extremely hospitable and an overall great guy. The location had it all. It was beautifully maintained and had everything you need to enjoy the amazing scenery. I would highly recommend this resort. Our group is already planning to reserve for next year! Thank you Tony.

Great Weekend!

This is a beautiful property, perfect for large groups. We had a high school reunion with 20 people and it was a fantastic time! The grounds were exactly as advertised and had all the amenities you could ask for. The lake is beautiful and there's more than enough space on the property to play any activity you could imagine. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable with plenty of space to accommodate large groups. There's small corner stores within a 10 minute drive and a large Metro about 30 minutes away. Also a great golf course 40 minutes away that is one of the best I've played at a $40 price point. Tony was very responsive and helpful in answering all of our questions. Looking forward to returning again!

Great place, great vacation

We stayed there 2 nights. The land is vast. We had 7 families. There were plenty of rooms to hold all. Especially the kids. They were so thrilled that they can all sleep together in one big room. It was a great vacation. Everybody enjoyed. The lake is so peaceful and beautiful. They have all kinds of things. Kayak, canon, tennis, basket ball. We didn't expect a table tennis and even a piano! We had fun.
