「The Royal is a great hotel situated in the quaint village of Heysham.
We loved our stay. Lots of nice walks and history. The hotel has a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere.
The food is excellent and all staff are friendly and display excellent communication and customer service skills.
Everwhere is spotlessly clean. Free parking is an added bonus.

Except that there is cow dung smell when you open windows because of the farms and animals in the nearby houses, sheds etc. I understand its not related to hotel, but just rural locality. So i would still rate the hotel and stay as excellent.」
「My friends and I lived the place. Very clean. Staff very professional but friendly. There were a common ice machine in the corridor and tea facilities in the room. Food was superb.
We wished we were staying longer as it was so nice and peaceful.

「Hotel, even without breakfast service, is lovely. Kitchen available to use. While walking I explored slightly further afield and discovered a little cafe on the beach and the stunning old Heysham Village. I heartily recommend staying at this hotel. Owner very helpful. 」
「Well looked after central. Gave very good information on parking, breakfast exceptional. Friendly host. Would recommend highly if you need accommodation in the area. The farmers pub on the corner 20 yds away. Food. Very good , again recommend. Even though busy and you need to book, bank holiday weekend. Very busy , but not noisy. Or a problem , being so close. 」
