「We were helped very friendly upon arrival. We arrived in Arequipa with the nightbus from Nasca so we went to the hotel hoping to be able to store our luggage until we could check in. The very friendly hotelmanager, Eddy, told us that our room was available already. This was really welcome, we could have a shower after our nightly ride and explore the city al freshened up. 「Great location, close to many restaurants and bars. About 2 blocks from the plaza. The rooms all face inside so you can’t open window for ventilation. There was no AC. We asked for a fan and that helped a lot. It was quiet and they held our luggage before snd after check in/out. Would recommend.」

「We spent three nights at Katari hotel in Arequipa (May 2026). You can't beat the location, right on the central plaza! They serve a very nice breakfast (made to order) on the open-air terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas. It was so peaceful and lovely. We also had drinks at sunset from the same terrace. Loved it! The rooms are clean and spacious, the beds are comfortable and the shower had good pressure and hot water (although there was one day when it was not as hot). From the hotel...

「元修道院との事、部屋の配置が、まがぬけてる。シャワールウムが小さい。洗面も小さく使いづらい。朝食が貧弱。バスタブ式にしてもらいたい。ロケイションもいまいち、ちゅうとはんぱ。すすめられない。」

「位置は比較的良い。エレベーターのある２階まで荷物を階段であげなくてはならいのが大変だが、スタッフが手伝ってくれる。ロビーにいつもコーヒーなどが置かれていて便利。朝食は、スクランブルドエッグ、ソーセージ、ベーコン、ハム、チーズ、パン程度だが、アレキパパンが楽しめる。」

「Hotel top! Sehr schöne und sichere Umgebung. Das Personal war immer super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders das Frühstück war toll, perfekt um gut in den Tag zu starten. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.」

「This is the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Peru. Super location!!! Super building with a lot of character and super staff!!! We had to leave one day at 2:50 am and as we were exiting, a gentleman at the counter saw us leaving and asked us to wait a couple of minutes. He returned with two bags for breakfast to go. This was a great touch! Highly recommended to anyone looking for a great place to stay, right at the center of Arequipa.」
