"This review describes an ADA unit in hopes to help someone that needs it to make an informed decision. The master bedroom has a queen size bed instead of a king to allow space for a wheelchair to pass. The masterbath has a tub with a bench on one end and there are handrails everywhere. The sink does not have bottom cabinets to allow full access with a wheelchair. The second bathroom also has plenty of handrails and a roll in shower. The kitchen had no bottom cabinets in some areas and the upper...

Top Castroville Hotel Reviews

Portola Hotel & Spa at Monterey Bay

10/10 Excellent

"The service and food at the restaurant was perfect. The rooms are beautiful and well maintained."

Lovers Point Inn

8/10 Good

"I needed a quiet and safe place to sleep at night while I was helping family, and Lover's Point Inn fit the bill. I could see that other units on my floor had been renovated with vinyl planks and blackout curtains. Mine had not been worked on yet, and still had carpet and curtains that let in the light outside. I was glad I had brought a mask. The tub/shower was clean and updated. I loved the windows that would actually open!!!! Parking is tricky if you get in after 6pm. There are some places in front of the hotel, but when those are full, you need to go to the underground parking. It is well lit and I felt safe in it. But it is narrow and has no exit; you have to turn around and go out the entrance. I needed to do an about eight point turn to get reversed. The staff is super helpful, kind, I really liked them all. I believe I will stay there again."

Monterey Peninsula Inn

10/10 Excellent

"This was close to a beach. The property was well maintained, I felt that I should have stayed few more days and enjoy Monterey Bay. I was also lucky that on the day of my stay the weather was so nice that I could spend 3 hours for my morning walk. The room was neat, clean and well maintained. The office staff in the front office was very helpful and she provided a route map to navigate the town. There were few cookware in the unit I stayed, so if you plan buy some vegetables, eggs, oil and salt so that you can cook your breakfast. I did reach late in the evening so I couldn't enjoy the firepit and the hot pool. My overall experience was very good."
