"The cabin and host were absolutely perfect- excellent communication, clear expectations, spotless conditions and comfortable. We watched movies, cooked, hot tubbed and swung on the porch swing. So many good wineries and close to c-ville, this will likely turn into an annual getaway! "

"Highest recommendation! Privately nestled in the Keswick hills, this serene cottage (with beautiful pond views) embodies rustic charm, comfort and quiet relaxation. It's thoughtfully decorated and furnished for ultimate enjoyment, with the inclusion of a hot tub, fire pit, outdoor dining & bbq, rocking chairs on the deck, and Adirondack chairs by the pond. Upon entering the cottage, we immediately felt at home. It's cozy, but spacious and has very comfortable furniture & bedding. It's immaculately clean and well-appointed with extra towels and full kitchenware & appliances. As well, check-in & out was easy, as was the clear and timely communication with the management. We definitely hope to stay here when visiting Charlottesville in the future."

"Our worst rental experience ever!! When we arrived, it was clear the cottage had not not prepared for us. Snow from a storm four weeks earlier had not been shoveled, meaning we had to walk across snow and ice to enter - I nearly fell trying to get inside. Once inside, there were live bugs in both the bathroom and kitchen, the air felt stale, and overall cleanliness was severely lacking. Laundry had not been completed and the master bedroom bedspread was stained and torn. Again, there was zero preparation for our arrival! The owner wanted us to wait while they called a cleaning crew, I guess 4 weeks wasn’t long enough for them to prepare for our arrival. This experience completely ruined our Valentine’s Day weekend and reflected a serious lack of customer service. We have asked Vrbo to review the property, as we do not feel it meets expected standards. There is nothing charming about this cottage, we walked away and won't ever go back to the cottage or their winery. "

"Home and amenities exactly as pictured. It was a welcome location which was nearby to what we wanted to do (close to C'ville, UVA, and wineries). The host kindly provided recommended local spots to eat and drink which were nice - definitely check out Patch Brewing if coming thru town. Very friendly for our dog as well :)"
