Quiet town with access to Northern Italy

Beautiful house. Great access to Lake Garda and the mountains. A/C in bedrooms but not living spaces. Opening the windows helped with cooling those areas. Back patio and front porch offer great outdoor seating.

Schöne Villa, etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Die Kommunikation mit Francesca war sehr gut. Im Haus sind zwei Ferienwohnung. Die untere hat einen Pool, auf den man von der oberen Terrasse schaut. Unsere Kids waren ziemlich neidisch.

Splendida villa

Finalmente abbiamo trovato una bellissima casa dove passare il capodanno. Siamo un gruppo numeroso, e la villa ci ha accolti tutti senza problemi, compreso mio figlio di 10 mesi. La casa era calda e ricca in tutto ciò che potesse servirci per un soggiorno piacevole. Il proprietario molto disponibile. Grazie di tutto!

Belle maison, mais description incorrecte

L'accueil a été très sympa par Francisco. La maison est grande et le terrain également. Par contre, la description contient une erreur pénible surtout en cas de forte chaleur; en effet si climatisation il y a, elle ne s'applique qu'aux chambres. Cela change beaucoup de choses dans la journée, les températures intérieures atteignent des valeurs difficilement supportables. De plus, on ne nous a pas prévenu que l'oncle de Francisco pénétrerait tous les jours sur le terrain pour arroser les fleurs, qu'un jardinier viendrait faire vrombir les tondeuses à gazon à 9 heures du matin. Ensuite, le soir quand la température a quelque peu diminué, quoi de plus agréable que de se poser sur le salon de jardin dans l'herbe pour essayer de gagner un peu de fraicheur, mais là surprise, l'arrosage automatique se déclenche à 23 heures et pour le coup "vous rafraichit" de façon un peu excessive. Autre information concernant l'oncle, nous lui avons montré un nid de frelons en cours d'installation sous le toit de la terrasse pour qu'il fasse quelque chose (ces insectes étant dangereux pour moi allergique) et .........il n'a rien fait. Enfin, faites-vous bien préciser l'utilisation du lave linge, car le fameux tonton vous reprochera son usage, dans un premier temps, puis voyant que nous avons continué à l'utiliser (bébé de 20 mois avec nous) nous indiquera que le coût d'utilisation est de 5 €, mais en lui montrant l'annonce d'Abritel, il a fait marche arrière. Dernière recommandation, évitez le micro onde, il continue de fonctionner la porte ouverte et en faisant le test du téléphone il n'est pas étanche, donc DANGEREUX.

A savoir, en fait il y a deux locations dans la même maison (une au Rez de chaussée, une dans l’ancienne partie habitable) donc proximité avec les autres locataires très forte

Schöne Villa, leider etwas "verwohnt" mit alter Ausstattung

Hallo. Wir waren eine Woche da mit 2 Familien, Francesco ist echt super und hat uns sogar einen früheren Check In ermöglicht, dass war echt klasse. Leider war die Sauberkeit vom Objekt echt nicht gut und ließ sehr zu wünschen übrig, dies muss unbedingt verbessert werden. Ebenso sollte man einmal Geld in neue Tassen, Gläser, Teller, Töpfe, etc. investieren, damit die künftigen Urlauber einfach einen schöneren Aufenthalt haben. Ebenso Betten und Decken sollten einmal angeschaut werden, dies kennen wir aus anderen Wohnungen besser. Leider war auch auf den Terrassen kein richtiges Wohlfühlen möglich, denn auch dies war mit teilweise alten Gartenmöbeln ausgestattet. Super war auf jeden Fall das die Schlafzimmer mit Klimaanlagen ausgestattet waren, somit konnte man ganz entspannt bei einer angenehmen Temperatur schlafen. Ebenso hatte uns Francesco ermöglicht, die Fahrzeuge über Nacht auf dem Grundstück zu parken. Danke dafür. Für die Zukunft ist es aber auch ratsam, dies dauerhaft für die Urlauber zu gestatten und ein Abstellen der Fahrzeuge auf dem Gelände zu ermöglichen, denn Platz ist ja vorhanden. Die Lage ist ok, aber wenn man etwas vom Gardasee sehen möchte, muss man halt immer mit dem Auto gute 20 - 40 Minuten fahren, je nach dem wo man hin möchte. Dies ist aber ja eigentlich bei der Buchung der Unterkunft ersichtlich, somit war es für uns ok :-)

Family friendly house in a quiet area

A spacious house and garden in a quiet area. Perfect place for a family or a group of people that has access to a car. You can walk to a couple of nice restaurants and you can access Milan, Garda lake, Venezia and more for day trips. The owner is very helpful and accommodated every request we had. He was very reliable and friendly, a perfect host. I will give him my best recommendation.

Wunderbares und schönes Haus

Was man sagen muss, das gewisse Einrichtungsgegenstände, vor allem in der Küche, schon ein wenig zu wünschen übrig lassen. Also wir haben Kochtöpfe gekauft. Da wäre noch potenzial vorhanden. Und wenn du in der unteren Wohnung Koreaner hast ..... Würde aber wieder gehen.

A week in Lake Garda

Francesco the Villa owner made us very welcome on arrival and communication prior and during the stay was excellent. The villa itself was cool and spacious during a hot week and the air conditioning in each bedroom was fantastic and at no extra cost. Some of the villa had been refurbished and the two bathrooms with showers finished to a high standard. Castenedolo was a lovely town to stay and access to Lake Garda was extremely easy for the main attractions. Also having four bedrooms (two with double beds and two with single beds) made sleeping for a large family extremely easy. Shopping in the area was very good as well with the Penny Market 1 km away our personal favourite as clean, tidy and friendly staff who didn't laugh at our poor grasp of Italian. So overall well done to Francesco and would recommend the villa to large families and fingers crossed the new kettle has now arrived!

Modern mit uriger Atmosphäre

Großzügiges Haus mit renoviertem Bad und Küche. Urige Atmosphäre im Wohn und Essbereich. Tolle Terrasse für Frühstück, Abendessen und mehr. Nächstes Jahr wohl mit Pool, der gerade gebaut wird (Mai 2018). Keine grosse Störung dadurch. :-) Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe und wichtig: Anbindung über Fernstrasse und Autobahn zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten des Gardasees. Empfehlenswert aus unserer Sicht. The House is very nice, a lovely garden. It is very easy to go the Garda Lake and other beautiful lakes. The terrasse in the is very nice. Would We come back again, Yes We would. We Can totally recommend this House.
