"Nice house in a quiet area with an amazing view of the night sky. Close to enough to town to do everything we had planned, but far enough to avoid big crowds and loud nights. Host also gave us some little honey jars and a great bottle of wine! No ceiling fan though and it’s a very quiet AC, so if you need something to fall asleep (like me) consider a white noise machine. "

"The cabin was wonderful, just what we wanted. It was far enough out of the city for us to enjoy the quiet and close enough in that we could easily drive back and forth for meals and shopping. We especially enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds and deer. The accommodations were comfortable. Everything that we needed was provided, including binoculars and a bird guide. We’d certainly like to stay there again when we return to Fredericksburg. "

"This was exactly what we were after! Total isolation, away from people and crowds. We loved the fire pit, sitting in the hammocks under the stars and counting the meteors, enjoying the hot tub - and we had the BEST neighbors: cows, goats, and coyotes! The house is fascinating - we walked around inspecting the old rocks, fossils, and quartz that made the home. If you want quiet and your own slice of Central Texas, this place delivers. I'll always be curious about what's behind those second story windows!"
