"Our group of 4 adults had a great stay at this property. While it was a tad tricky to find, Telma helped us through that and warmly greeted us at her charming property. After a quick tour and a few tips she left us with a fresh loaf of bread, some cheese, bottle of her local favorite wine and some pastries. The property was seemingly in the middle of nowhere with views over the local fields but in reality was only a few minutes from the autoroute making it a great base for exploring the area....

"Gorgeous property from the outside, beautiful pool, garden and view.Very spacious inside, one of the four bedrooms does not have air con.The villa itself is quite tired (not vintage just old and worn in places). When we first opened the door we were hit with a very strong smell of damp and stale. There was mold on the curtains in the kitchen and on one of the bedspreads upstairs (a bed we didn’t need to use) as there were only 4 of us.The kitchen wasn’t very clean on arrival-a dirty cloth left...

"A lovely house, the grounds are immaculate and the pool is fantastic. We had a great time and our host Joao was really helpful with nothing too much bother. Thoroughly recommended."

"Pros: De binnenruimte is heel ruim met een goed ingerichte keuken. Er zijn heel wat zitmogelijkheden zowel binnen als buiten. Zowel zonnige plekjes als overdekt in de schaduw. Een mooi en ruim zwembad. Goede communicatie met de gastheer."

"Un appartement très beau, refait avec goût, avec de nombreux espaces qui permet à chacun d’avoir son intimité et son espace. Il est très bien placé, en plein cœur de la vieille ville de Santarém, ville carrefour proche de Lisbonne mais aussi de Péniche ou Nazaré, à 2h30 de Porto. Literie très confortable également. "

"Cons: Falta de proteção nas escadas e tetos baixos nos quartos e no wc superior. Houve muita cabeçada."

"Tivemos uma estadia absolutamente fantástica nesta casa de férias. A casa é muito boa, espaçosa, confortável e bem cuidada. Destacamos especialmente a piscina, que é excelente – perfeita para relaxar durante o dia e dar uns bons mergulhos..A área exterior superou as expectativas: muito agradável, com zonas de sombra e sol, ideal para refeições ao ar livre, momentos de descanso ou brincadeiras. Todo o espaço exterior está muito bem arranjado e transmite uma sensação de tranquilidade e privacidade.A casa está equipada com tudo o que é necessário – desde utensílios de cozinha a pequenos eletrodomésticos –, o que tornou a estadia ainda mais prática e confortável. Também apreciámos bastante a acessibilidade da casa, com fácil acesso de carro e boa ligação às principais estradas e pontos de interesse da região.Gostaríamos ainda de destacar a simpatia e dedicação do Sr. João, que desde o primeiro contacto se mostrou sempre disponível, atencioso e preocupado em garantir que tudo corria da melhor forma. "Such a beautiful place! A great house with great facilities and very clean throughout. The outside space is brilliant - different areas along the main patio with a BBQ and different seating (a table, deckchairs, a hammock and sofas) and then there's a decking area with sunloungers by the pool. There's a lawned area and some swings for the kids and then all of this is surrounded by lots of land with orange trees and fig trees and so much space! We loved it.It's a few minutes walks into the village which has a small supermarket and a couple of small local cafes. Corouche is 20 mins by car and has three big supermarkets so very easy to stock up. And you can arrange to have the baker drop by every day to buy fresh bread and cakes, which were great.We met the hosts on arrival and they were so welcoming and helpful. And we were in touch during the week (to arrange the baker visits) and were always very responsive and keen to assist. Thank you so much for that and for letting us stay and enjoy your fabulous property. We very much hope to return. "
