"Very quiet and nice place to stay. Host’s were great and easy to communicate with"

"Being a VRBO property owner, I am sensitive about good ratings. However, I am not happy to be giving a 3-star review on a property that had received so many positive reviews; I had very high expectations and chose this property based on the many positive reviews. First, I will begin with positive comments: (1) central location to the many walled towns in Tuscany-one of the main reasons we chose this property; (2) the villa is attractive, clean, and mostly authentic; (3) the pool & grounds are nice; (4) the kitchen was adequately equipped; (5) linens and towels were fine. Second, comments about wasn't so good: (1) the adjacent factory activity can be heard at times; (2) the coffee maker uses pods that are not available at a grocery store, but Gianni said he would supply them for a cost of 5 Euros for 10; (3) the property gate requires getting out of your car to punch in the code-very inconvenient especially if bad weather. At 7:00 am when we were leaving the property for the airport, the gate to the driveway would not open for us to be able to leave and fortunately we had a phone number for Gianni's parents who did not speak English but we were able to communicate the problem with the gate and they came to property to manually open the gate. This delayed us by 30 minutes & more importantly, if Gianni's parents were not available to open the gate, we could have missed our flight because there was no way to drive off the property. Hence, the main reason for the 3-star rating! "

"This property is beautiful and the hosts were so good at communicating with us before and during our stay. This home is so peaceful and really serine. We had Serina cook for us one night and we had another meal and a half afterward. We hope to return again and spend more time here. "

"Great quiet location for visiting the Chianti region. The pool was pristine and delightful after a long day of sight-seeing.The value for a two-night stay with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was unbeatable. The internal rooms were clean albeit the decor was eclectic.The outside space needed some tidying and tending but it didn’t hamper our enjoyment. We liked the kitty that stopped by daily for a belly rub.FYI, the road to the property is gravel so your vehicle will fret dusty!"
