"The hotel is a unique revitalized building, excellent job on that, exposed brick walls, really beautiful. Since I remember the building from childhood the contractor did a great job. We had room 7, the room was nice, my issue was, no side tables by the bed and the bed is extremely high, really needs a stool to get in. It was very quiet, loved the fans, bed was a bit hard but bedding was nice. they provided snacks which was extremely thoughtful. although we didn't eat them. If i have another event I would stay there again. The venue was also beautiful done. Would love to see Carthage revitalized. it's a beautiful town with wonderful people."

"We had a friend coming to stay a few nights & got him a room here. His. room was beautiful. Room was spotless & incredibly quiet. Custom shower was beautiful and huge. We will definitely recommend to anyone hunting a place to stay."

"I am from Washington State. You were recommended by a local Carthage friend. I was pleasantly surprised by what i found. I love old things and wish I could have lived 100 years ago. This place was just that character. Very nice renovation. The room was small, but all I .needed. There was a problem with the toilet I noticed right off, but called the office and it was taken care of while I was out and about for the day. Came back that night and everything worked great. Fast service. The roof top patio area was very nice. Sat out there with friends in the evening. It was pretty much a self service accommodation. Never met a live person face to face. But everything was easily done on line."
