"Excellent stay, one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in, centrally located in Wellington, parking relatively easy, all the amenities you would expect, great views from the 20th floor"
Mercure Wellington Central City Hotel and Apartments
10/10 Excellent
"This centrally located semi-highrise hotel was the perfect fit for my time in Wellington. It’s right where I needed to be and the price seemed pretty reasonable for all it offered. I think I may have lucked out being on a high floor, but the views were outstanding, the airflow between windows was great, and the water pressure was a true gift after lots of walking. I really enjoyed the nearby shops and restaurants and the attentive front desk. There is no gym but there are plenty of other things to do around the area. I would return. "
"Would recommend Gilmer - I arrived after hours and everything was set up for me including parking which is very easy and convenient. The hotel is easy to access from SH1 which reduces city driving. The room had everything I needed. I didn’t need aircon but there was a fan. "
