Absolutely excellent

Perfect gité- clean, well equipped, air conditioning Lovely area - many restaurants nearby & shops Swimming pool was very refreshing (a little chilly!) The owners, only spoke French but we communicated well, they were lovely & left us alone to enjoy our holiday. They have a beautiful new retriever puppy

Aangename verblijfplaats. Alles wat nodig is voor een prettig verblijf. Wie niet gewoon is aan druk verkeer is dit geen ideale plaats. Ligt langs een drukke weg. Binnen geen enkele last maar in één slaapkamer toch wel veel lawaai.

Fabuleuse demeure, tout était parfait. Beaucoup de place et très propre. La piscine privée est parfaite. Et nos Hôtes étaient très disponible et discret en même temps. Pour les courses un Aldi ce trouve juste en face. D ici vous arrivez en moyenne en une 1/2 heures sur beaucoup de site a voir ( Gorde, Avignon,..) Nous on n y reviendrons.

Prachtig huis met erg mooi en lekker groot (prive) zwembad erbij. De eigenaren zijn aardige mensen. We kregen allerhande tips op de app over plaatsen die we wilde bezoeken. Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien zoals wasmachine, afwasmachine, diepvries-koelkast end. Prima bedden, huiskamer en de grote slaapkamer voorzien van airco. Enige wat mensen als nadeel kunnen ervaren is de doorgaande weg naast het huisje. Wij hadden er geen last van (zijn wat verkeer gewend in onze omgeving) maar als je absolute stilte wilt kan dat wellicht tegenvallen. In het huisje hoor je er niets van in de tuin en bij het zwembad hoor je wat verkeer rijden.

Wir haben uns die Reise schön gemacht!

Unser Aufenthalt war im Großen und Ganzen schön. Die Provence ist immer einer Reise wert, und als Standort für viele interessante Ausflüge ist Carpentras optimal. Das Haus selbst liegt an einer stark befahrenen Straße im Industriegebiet. Glücklicherweise hat man davon im Haus selbst nichts bemerkt. Die Innenausstattung entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellung. Z. B. die Spülmaschine war im Innenraum verrostet und spülte nicht sauber, die Küchenausstattung, wie Töpfe, Pfannen und Zubehör bedarf einer Erneuerung, der Föhn war defekt. Positiv zu bewerten ist der Pool, der sehr gepflegt war.

Das Haus ist geräumig für 3 Personen, alles war sauber, als wir ankamen. Der Swimmingpool und die Sonnenterrasse sind das Highlight! Die Eigentümer sind diskret und Sie haben immer Ihre Privatsphäre. Sie sind super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Angenehme Umgebung, Geschäfte in der Nähe und Autobahnen für einen Ausflug.

We kunnen alleen maar de beoordelingen van de andere gasten beamen. Wát een heerlijk huis en vriendelijke eigenaren! Ze doen er echt alles aan om het je naar je zin te maken. Het huis is heel comfortabel en ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien (denk aan een oven, magnetron, koelkast, diepvries, airco). De eigenaren hebben zelfs een avond pizza's voor ons gebakken en voor mijn man Paëlla gemaakt! Bij het afscheid werden we nog uitgenodigd voor een kopje thee bij hen thuis (de gîte is verbonden aan hun huis, maar je geniet er wel alle privacy). Je voelde je zó welkom! Echt een aanrader ook voor als je met kleine kinderen reist. Het privé-zwembad is volledig omheind en er is een gedeelte ondiep water in het zwembad waar ons dochtertje heerlijk kon spelen. Verder was het een goed uitvalsbasis om de omgeving te verkennen. Kort in de buurt van (o.a.) Avignon, de Mont Ventoux, Roussillon, Gordes. We zijn voornemens om volgend jaar weer terug te gaan!

We travel to France every year, usually booking through Owners Direct or French Connections but this was easily one of the best properties we have ever rented. Just perfect. David and Myriam have done a fantastic job with their two bedroom house. The courtyard garden is delightful for breakfast and the obligatory evening BBQ and the pool is an absolute sun-trap that was difficult to keep our 10 year old out of! In fact David and Myriam, are just two genuinely nice people. The position of the property just north of Avignon and in the shadow of Ventoux is perfect for the villages of Gordes and Roussillon, the day trips to Avignon, Nimes, the Pont du Gard and Orange. Don't tell the people of Carpentras (they have one of the biggest markets in the area) but the best is at Bedoin, a good local, artisan market from which you can push on up to the summit of Ventoux, afterwards. That said, in defence of Carpentras, Restaurant Camille is a fabulous dining experience, especially if you are without children. Absolutely off-the-scale. For families we liked Le Grillon in Bedoin. I guess we need to find a downside.......Hhhmmm........a vacuum cleaner would be handy! That's it. Thank you David and Myriam, it was genuinely a pleasure to stay with you and a little sad to leave.

Door een brand heel dicht bij de snelweg kwamen wij later aan als aangekondigd. Geen probleem, we werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen. Na een korte uitleg over de woning konden wij de fles rosé die op tafel stond als welkomstgeschenk lekker genieten. Het huisje is goed onderhouden, ruim en smaakvol ingericht met alle voorzieningen die je kunt bedenken. Het zwembad werd elke dag schoongemaakt en het water was ook kraakhelder. David en Miriam, de eigenaren die naast het huisje wonen, waren zeer behulpzaam in alles. Er is ook heel veel te zien en doen in de omgeving rond Carpentras. Een aanrader.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par des personnes vraiment très chaleureuses et serviables. En ce qui concerne l'hébergement, ce fut, une agréable surprise car les photos du site correspondaient exactement à la réalité. Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour, avec une soirée pizza mémorable. Nous espérons pouvoir programmer un prochain séjour dans cette habitation.

Alhoewel wij deze gite pas 2 weken van te voren geboekt hadden, waren wij uiters ...

Alhoewel wij deze gite pas 2 weken van te voren geboekt hadden, waren wij uiterst tevreden met ons verblijf in Villa Vaucluse. Bij aankomst werden we zeer welkom geheten door de super aardige eigenaren David en Myriam, die weliswaar alleen frans spreken, maar er alles aan doen om je een fijne vakantie te bezorgen. Een lekkere fles rose en aarbeien uit Carpentras stonden klaar. Het onderkomen is charmant en goed ingericht, ideaal voor een gezin met twee kinderen, waar je ook bij minder weer confortabel kan vertoeven. De Weber met reeds aanwezig houtskool (!) en diverse petanq-sets maakten het verblijf compleet. Genoeg privacy ondanks dat de eigenaren naast het verblijf wonen. Inderdaad de gite ligt aan een drukke weg maar wij hadden daar geen last van. Ideale uitvalsbasis om de Provence te verkennen. Op afstand van 10 minuten vind je trouwens het super leuke dorpe Pernes-les-Fontaines, waar je leuke restaurantjes vindt!

We hebben hier een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Fantastische gite van fantastische eigenaars. Alles is in de gîte aanwezig en is heel netjes. Zwembad wordt meerdere keren per week schoongemaakt. Bij aankomst staat er een fles rosé klaar en de eigenaar heeft op een avond pizza voor ons klaargemaakt. Als enig minpuntje kunnen we melden dat je voor alles je auto nodig hebt, maar dat weet je van op voorhand en dus geen problem. 's avonds blijf je in Carpentras centrum best weg want er is heelwat criminaliteit en je voelt je dus niet echt op je gemak, maar er zijn genoeg kleine steden in de buurt waar je iets kan gaan eten.

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen, alles werd uitgelegd. Huisje was schoon, jehad veel privacy. Nadeel was verkeerslawaai, maar in het huisje zelf was daar niets van te horen. Heerlijk genoten van het zwembad en de ligstoelen. Ook wij kregen rosé en zelfgebakken pizza.
