This was such a nice hotel to stay at. My best friend and I were only able to visit for one night, but it was absolutely worth it. We will 100% be coming back. Bob at the front desk was the best! Very knowledgeable and personable. He had an amazing attitude, a contagious smile, and you could tell he actually liked his job and wanted to be there! It was also really cool how my name was displayed on the TV right when I walked in.

The property is located just a few minutes from Carlsbad Village. The beach is in walking distance. The hotel offers bicycles, beach chairs and towel. They also have a shuttle that can take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. We enjoyed the spa where we had a couples massage. All the employees from the front desk to the wait staff and room attendants were so nice. We had a balcony with a view of the pool and the ocean. It was so peaceful and relaxing!

Hi! The room was clean and the staff was lovely. However, the room was super old. And the shower was dreadful. I most certainly would never label our stay as lux or even good. I would label the room we were given as basic--and that would be a compliment. Expedia has always been an amazing resource, so I was surprised!

The staff was wonderful, location was fantastic, food was great....I would give a 5 star if the AC worked in the room. Couldn't get the temp to go down below 73* Had to leave door open took a whole day for it to cool down.
