「Hotel staff was very nice and helpfull. As a room tip i would suggest to get room from second/third floor, since balcony in first floor is not nice because of the area that hotel is in. Rooms were clean and quiet. First floor balcony was not what i expected and did not use it at all. There is a supermarket nearby that you can visit without boat ride but rooms dont have any fridges. Hotel restaurant was not in use during my visit, thou they served basic breakfast in the morning.」

「Inexpensive for what you get. I stayed in a private over the water cabin with my own private bathroom. Conveniently close to Bocas Town. Host was friendly, patient, and very helpful. Has its own restaurant and bar, so really no need to go anywhere else. I would rent again. 」

「Don't get lured by the nice pictures. They were purposely boosted up. The hotel is located on a small island surrounded by the locals' cabins and a school. From and to Bocas town the only way is by water taxi $1 per capita ($2 at night). The land entrance is an alleyway leading to the local community. That's something you don't really want to see when on holiday. But if you'd like to walk on the island you need to make your way through the narrow path surrounded by trash, animal droppings and...

「Buccaneer was more or less what we expected based on other reviews. It worked for our family because we wanted an affordable option right on the beach (not just a dock over the water) because our kids are little (2 and 4). As mentioned by other reviewers the free breakfast at Bibi’s restaurant was frustrating because they never opened before 9 and our kids were hangry by then. The room was clean except that the place is infested with some type of termite so there’s a coating of their discharge...
