Oaktree Cottage, Cardigan

Oaktree Cottage is an attractive Welsh stone cottage at Owl Farm near Cardigan, Ceredigion. The private hot tub is a great place to relax after a day exploring and with beautiful beaches and countryside nearby it is perfect for a family seaside holiday or active break. Owl Farm is located within the beautiful Teifi Valley, on the borders of Pembrokeshire, Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire and specialises in the conservation of rare breeds and endangered species.

The many unusual animals are not raised for meat and are primarily pets that guests are encouraged to meet and learn all about. Oaktree Cottage is one of five at Owl Farm, set back from the road down a private lane and near to the many beautiful sandy beaches of Cardigan Bay, including the award-winning Poppit Sands. Within the grounds, there are nature walks with panoramic views toward the Preseli hills, a wetland with bird hide, a designated playing field and picnic areas.

There are many local activities and attractions; why not try fishing and canoeing on the River Teifi, a visit to Cenarth Falls or take a seal and dolphin spotting boat trip. The nearby town of Cardigan has supermarkets, cafés and pubs, a popular theatre/cinema, and a restored castle. For walkers, the Preseli Hills and the Wales Coast Path offer stunning scenery, spectacular wildlife, historic sites, beaches, and seaside villages to explore.

Outside, there is a fully fenced, dog-friendly private garden, patio with garden furniture and a small lawned area. There is ample space at the farm for parking. Electric Car charging facility on site. A games room is available for all the cottages with table tennis, pool table and TV.
