"The location it was not where it supposed to be. I realy needed to stay in Nelas. In your site, the place is in Nelas. Thats the reason I booked at the first place. And even at the Google Maps it shows the place as it it in Nelas. But the fact is that it is not in the village I wanted. So I could not stay at the place. I had to move to another place with extra charge. I hope I could refund me because the information I had for the booking is not correct. Kind regards"

"The cottage is great - plenty of space for 2 people and a lovely terrace almost directly on the reservoir. We especially enjoyed the hammocks and the pool table! The furnishings are a bit dated but generally ok. If you don't like a Nespresso machine, you should bring something to make coffee. The bedrooms were very nice. The drive to the accommodation through the narrow, steep streets is a challenge, but this is probably true of all accommodation in this region. A car is absolutely necessary, as...

"Close to Coimbra not far from Porto, Luso has a lot of charm with a beautiful forest on the doorstep. The accomodation is perfect, and the host is helpful and available if anything at all is needed. Great way to discover Central Portugal!"

"This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. The owners live nearby and are the most hospitable and generous hosts imaginable, sharing fresh produce from their farm and knowledge of the area."

"Disappointing Would not stay here again Have stayed at other Wot hotels where we arrived and received free welcome drinks. When we arrived here after hours driving on 35 degree Friday, we couldn't even BUY a drink. 2 bars, both closed. Not even a suggestion of an alternative option.Nice location by a lagoon on a hot day and can't even get a beer. Disappointing. If I knew this when I was booking I would have stayed at one of the other options within 30 mins. On a 10 day road trip of northern Portugal, this was the worst value hotel we stayed at. No fridge in the room Shower head was dodgy so shower was frustrating Matresses are great if you enjoy springs in your back. Wont be back"

"Nuno, the Manager, was well versed in English, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. He provided us good guidance to explore the hotspots in the area. I would not recommend driving through this area unless you are willing to accept a few surprises with the GPS and locating the various attractions, including your hotel! I would recommend walking within a 10 minute radius of this hotel to find and explore various restaurant choices for food. Don’t settle for the first one you see!There’s a beautiful 19th century castle within 15 minute driving range of this hotel. Highly recommend a visit quite a bit of interesting short hikes and springs and waterfalls around the palace. However, I wouldn’t recommend staying at the Palace hotel. Food there is pricey. And it is very secluded. Just get a couple of drinks or a sandwich at the palace hotel, which will allow me an opportunity to take some pictures of this architectural marvel! Highly recommend visiting the natural holy water, spring! Quite unique, and all of our travels are around the world! "
