Of note there are no extra blankets for your bed, or a throw to cuddle under for the couch, the mattress pads/covers were on the box spring/foundation and not the mattress itself so just a sheet on bare mattress. (Very odd!) 「This is one of the most peaceful trips we have ever taken. We hiked every day and spent time under the magnificentredwoods and exploring the small towns. I used to stay in Santa Cruz then visit the trees and trails. I will stay in the trees and visit Santa Cruz from now on. I needed the host's help with one minor thing. The main house is directly attached to their office, and unfortunately, the noise from the office carried straight through the wall. 「Very pretty location with lovely picture window overlooking the creek and redwoods. Comfortable bed. Quiet neighborhood. Well stocked kitchen except a wine opener is needed. After our stay there in early August, we agreed with the other reviews that it got too hot inside during the day without air conditioning. 「Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine.」

「This is a very honest review. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. It is clean and remodeled with modern conveniences. It is a peaceful and serene place.The road to this cabin, which the owner tells you upfront is absolutely horrible.
