Lovely place to stay. Super convenient, gorgeous view of Lion's Head. Thin walls, noisy in the hallway and stairwell outside room but would definitely stay again!! Staff all so helpful and lovely!

I would go back
Lovely place to stay with 2 super grocery stores anf coffee shops downstairs and many restaurants and amenities in the area. The huzz-n-buzz in the area might put someone off, looking for a tranquil place to stay. But once in your spacious clean and neat room, with kingsize bed, coffee machine, bar fridge, microwave and TV, it's very pleasant.

Pros: Nice property, excellent staff, secure access, easy onsite parking, clean comfortable bed, hot shower, cold air conditioning, and soft towels. Easy access to shops, restaurants, spa and art galleries. Cons: Limited table/counter space made it very difficult to set up the room for my stay. I was constantly needing to move things around to make coffee, charge electronics or eat. Lack of outlets made it difficult to charge electronics.

Newkings exceded our expectations. Superb service from friendly staff. We stayed in room 313 which has a balcony with a stunning view of Lion's Head. The room was very spacious and nicely laid out. The attached restaurant is also superb. The street the hotel is on has some amazing restaurants, and is a 2 minute walk to the beach front.
