"The property was very clean. Room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Room is equipped with a microwave, a mini fridge, a kettle, a toaster, and all the basic kitchen utensils and cutlery you may need for your short stay. The only downside is that there is no place to eat near the Chalet or in town unless you drive to nearest town Pictou which is 15 minutes drive away."

"I want to start with the positive. The room was large, very clean, the beds comfy and there was a/c, fridge and tv. The stay had what we needed and there were water views. However, there were no staff. Our key was stuck to a door with a message saying there was no breakfast so we’d be given a discount. "We had a wonderful stay in Pictou at the Braeside Country Inn. Sweet little spot with a wonderful host. The place was clean and quaint with lots of nice touches in this historic building. If you’re looking for a place that’s different from the ordinary, has charm, and character, this is the place for you."
