cozy seaside retreat tucked away in the quaint village of Oyster. Located just

minutes from Cape Charles, this charming cottage offers the perfect balance of

relaxation, nature, and heritage in one of the Eastern Shore's best-kept

secrets.



Step inside to a bright and welcoming space with coastal touches, comfortable

furnishings, and all the essentials you need for a stress-free stay. Whether

you're sipping coffee on the front porch or cooking up your fresh catch in the

fully equipped kitchen, Oyster Cottage invites you to slow down and savor the

moment.



The real magic happens outdoors—breathe in the salty air as you explore the

tidal creeks and marshes just a short stroll away, cast a line off the public

dock, or launch your kayak for an unforgettable paddle. Birders and nature

lovers will be captivated by the nearby barrier islands and migratory bird

sanctuaries that make this region so special.



After a day of adventure, unwind in the quiet, star-filled evenings or take a

quick drive to Cape Charles for dining, boutique shopping, or a sunset stroll

along the beach.



Whether you're here for fishing, kayaking, or simply escaping the noise,

Oyster Cottage offers a peaceful retreat in a timeless coastal setting.

Inadvance, call Tidewater Boat Charters (443) 553-0277, and reserve a boat

tour of the barrier islands, a sunset tour, or dolphin cruises.



**Pets allowed on request ONLY for an extra charge of USD 20 per pet, per

night. The maximum number of pets is 2.

Horseshoes and cornhole equipment are available**



* No smoking inside the property. However smoking is allowed on porches.

* No cleaning fish inside the house. Fish cleaning station is outside by the pump house/light house.

* Renter assumes risk associatied with use of loft including the ladder and stairs or staircase.

* A $50 key loss charge and $100 fee for door lock replacement.



Boats of all kinds are allowed on the property . Hose and a fish cleaning

station is provided



This cottage doesn't provide enough space for 6 full size adults. 4 adults

and 2 children works great.

Perfectly Quaint Accommodations for Families

Our stay at the Oyster Cottage was idyllic. Clean with all the basic amenities you need for a peaceful yet fun and wholesome weekend stay. We stayed here with four adults and one toddler (2yo) and it was the perfect size. Spent evenings grilling, eating and playing games on the screened porch, watching gorgeous sunrises each morning and moonrises each night over Oyster Bay. The quietness and immersion in nature is breathtaking. I think our dog enjoyed the weekend the most because of the wide open space for her to run and explore. It's only 10 minutes to the grocery and restaurants and 15 minutes to adorable Cape Charles - the perfect place to stay if you want to escape the tourist hustle and bustle but still get taste of the lively town and fun. There's a beautiful trail, Horse Island Trail, less than a half-mile from the house that takes you out onto the point with scenic views of Oyster Bay. Everything about this property is pure Eastern Shore - 10/10 recommend!

My family and I just loved staying in Oyster Cottage! It is a lovely space and the views from the deck were wonderful! We really enjoyed venturing out to tour Cape Charles and Chincoteague and then return home to this comforting place.

Super cute cottage, off the beaten path

My family of five really enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. Loved the view of the water as well as the ability to access the water and have a nice area to walk around. Love that it was very close to Cape Charles, but not directly in the hustle and bustle. Cottage was very clean And had good sleeping arrangements for our family of five with three teenagers. The bathroom was very spacious and also clean. It was very convenient to have towels and bedsheets provided. We did not use the kitchen other than to make coffee as we ate dinner out most nights. We really enjoyed seafood from A1 and pizza from Deadrise. Also enjoyed visiting two different beaches, Cape Charles, and the state park at Kiptopeke. The owners were very responsive as well. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful stay.
