「Upon arrival, the property felt more like an old hostel than the hotel we expected. It's located on a sharp curve next to the railroad in what appears to be a converted saloon. The building was cluttered and didn't feel particularly welcoming, and as a single mom traveling with my son, I didn't feel comfortable staying there. 「Excellent! The cabin was right on the water and very quiet. Everything was in great shape, the bed and futon were comfortable and the loft level afforded enough privacy for my teenaged daughter and I to enjoy our time together. 」

「The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. Host’s stepdaughter and friend were amazingly helpful for local tips, moose watching, northern lights and blueberries- we saw it all! Place was ideal for long days away and having a comfy bed and hot shower. Would love an electric skillet but everything else was well thought out...

「We ended up enjoying our stay in these tiny cabins. They were a little tight but they were properly described in the listing. We figured out how to maneuver. As old travelers headed to a cruise, we have luggage. These cabins really don't have space for opening a suitcase. We managed. The heat was weak downstairs but warm upstairs. The water was hot. We enjoyed our two nights.」
