This flat has lots of good qualities. It is safe, well furnished, has two and a half baths, two balconies, a lift and a garage. These were the features that we were looking for and that made our stay there most pleasant and comfortable. The kitchen is charming and made me feel as if I were at home in a very french environment. The owner is courteous and helpful and helped make our stay effortless. The only disadvantage was the lack of English television which I have heard is pretty much normal throughout Cannes. There was a large supply of English books to read and by the end of the week I was comfortable watching the news in French.
The only downside of the location of this flat is that although it is very close to grocery stores, a pastry shop and some cafes, it was quite a distance to the main part of the city. The streets of Cannes are very winding and many are one way. so it is difficult driving for someone from the US where streets are usually straight. We found that the best way to get around was to walk. We did gradually discover short cuts to the sea and felt very safe walking everywhere. All in all I would highly recommend this flat to anyone who wants to experience a feeling of living in France - a little removed from the more touristy aspects of the city.
