Fabulous stay and experience

Elisabeth made my stay an excellent experience by always being available and going beyond what was required to make my stay very enjoyable and worthwhile in her beautiful apartment in a historical building overlooking the city of Cannes and the sea ! I highly recommend it !

Un très grand merci à Elisabeth

Un appartement classique lumineux aux fonctionnalités modernes et pratiques au sein d'un magnifique ancien grand hôtel historique du XIXème siècle à mi-hauteur d'un quartier des plus chics et des plus calmes de Cannes, entouré d'un parc privé merveilleusement arboré de plusieurs hectares, avec vue sur la mer en arrière plan. Des modalités d'arrivée libres (par boîtes à clefs) non contraignantes en termes d'horaires. Elisabeth fournit un descriptif très complet et très clair de l'usage des lieux et des commodités environnantes, avec plans. Une concierge et une personne de confiance pour le rendu des clefs fort agréables. Une propriétaire parfaitement soucieuse du complet bien-être de ses hôtes, répondant avec précision et tact aux éventuelles questions de ceux-ci. Un endroit merveilleux pour un séjour à Cannes dans un cadre suggérant les fastes d'antant... Mille merci à Elisabeth, dont nous espérons qu'elle voudra bien à nouveau nous accueillir dans les prochaines années pour d'autres séjours aux alentours de la même époque !

Lovely apartment in Cannes

A lovely apartment, around 20 minutes from the centre of Cannes. A great location to stay during festival de Cannes. Beautiful gardens and the owner Elisabeth was prompt with her responses to queries and provided useful information about Cannes.

sehr schönes Apartment mit Blick aufs Meer

Der Check-In war etwas kompliziert, aber dann haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Apartment ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Die Wohnanlage, ein altes Hotel aus der Gründerzeit, ist sensationell, die Lage zum Meer perfekt, man wohnt schon sehr previligiert auf einem riesigen parkähnlichen Gelände. Die Nachbarn und die Consierge sind nett und hilfsbereit. Mit dem Auto hat man kein Problem, es gibt immer Parkplätze, was ja in Cannes sonst sehr schwierig ist. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Beautiful stay

Thoroughly enjoyed this wonderfully peaceful and characterful apartment. Elizabeth is the perfect host, thinking of almost everything. We felt like we were staying at our second home. I will not only come again but cannot recommend this apartment enough.

Tres bien

We enjoyed a wonderful week in this beautiful apartment. It is located in a very impressive building and surrounded by a lovely garden. The apartment is very clean, well equiped and the perfect place for two, visiting Cannes. Shops and cafes are within a 5-8 minute walk, the beach about a 15 minute walk away. Thanks to Elisabeth's very detailed good information and perfect instructions, everything was very easy for us. Great place and we're looking forward to our next visit there. Peter

Living in a Palace - Can life get any better ?!

Owner Elisabeth has made the right investment here - Wowee! Fantastic suite. It is absolutely the only place anyone should stay while in Cannes. The palatial building was first a Palace in the late 1800’s then became a hotel in 1925, occupied by Germany during WWII and taken over by the American’s in 1947 becoming residential building for all the world to enjoy. There are only great things to say about this location words can’t describe it. I probably took about 100 photos of the view of the ocean from the breakfast table & while lying in bed, location, its grounds and surrounding area are stunning. Put it this way — Even if you plan to stay in Nice or Antibes or Monaco - make this your home base - you’ll never want to leave.

Great appartment

We had a wonderful time staying at the location. The beautiful garden surrounding the lovely building and the very comfortable appartment added a lot to a very relaxing week in Cannes. We enjoyed some really great excursions visiting Antibes, the coast and Cannes itself. Lovely apartment in quieter location.

This is an unusual and pleasant apartment in beautiful and tranquil grounds. It's ideal if you would rather stay in a residential area, away from central Cannes. It does take approx 45 mins to walk into town, some of it up or down hill but there are local hourly buses until early evening. The local area has some facilities and the closest beach with one or two bars and cafes, and some water sports, is about 15 min walk away. We had a good week just relaxing in the sun and the apartment grounds were lovely to sit in with a drink in the evenings.

Lovely apartment in a magnificent building with spectacular views.

This was a lovely place and the views from the windows were beautifully Mediterranean. The facilities were just right for the two of us (apart from lack of a washing machine). The main disadvantage was the bedlinen. A simple double duvet with a duvet cover would have sufficed. We weren't fans of red bedlinen, and the mix of blankets and bedcovers of different sizes was just a little antiquated. Altogether an excellent find.

Affordable luxury in Cannes!

The Apartment was totally as described and the attention to detail that Elizabet had given with regard to the directions and access to this lovely home was excellent.. We would highly recommend this Apartment as an ideal base from which to explore this beautiful coastline although it is not ideally situated for anyone who has difficulty in walking. However local public transport was very good, we used the local 6b bus to the station and were pleased that we took the coastal train to Monaco as the traffic there was horrendous. We would certainly recommend this Apartment to our friends as excellent value and September as a very good time to miss the crowds in this part of the world.

Wonderful apartment, fantastic sea views.

The apartment is stylishly decorated in a beautiful historic former hotel building. The apartment is well equipped and extreemly comfortable. There are magnificent gardens that are well kept and stunning views over the Mediterranean Sea. Shops and restaurants within a 10 minute downhill walk. Cannes town and beach another 5 minutes further on. Ideal location for exploring the Cote De Azure. Highly recommended for couples.

Excellent apartment in an ideal location

We have recently returned from a week long stay, and what a great week it was. The apartment is excellent, with brilliant views, which we were able to enjoy over breakfast. With an enjoyable walk down the hill and along the coast to the centre of Cannes, the apartment is in an ideal location. The walk back up the hill takes a little more effort, but makes you feel better after your indulgences at the great restaurants in Cannes! Elisabeth, the owner, was brilliant. Always fast to reply to any messages sent, and provided a very useful document detailing nearest supermarkets/bakeries/restaurants etc. (Rue Hoche was an excellent recommendation!). Thanks for a great stay Elisabeth!

Amazing property and apartment!

The building itself is one of the most beautiful in all of Cannes you feel like you're walking into a palace! We loved every minute of our stay here. The apartment is very large by European standards and was very well equipped. The view was amazing and Elizabeth was very helpful. We will definitely return in the future!
