Great property. It is a remote location that is a bit of a drive to get to. It would be great (imho) for stays consisting of at least several days or longer.
One suggestion for the property is to add a mirror over the bathroom sink. The mirror on the opposite wall isn’t as practical.

Sligachan is always a wonderful place to stay while on Skye. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and you can’t beat that view of the mountains in the morning. We can’t wait to stay here again!

During our 2-week visit to Scotland, I managed to catch RSV. I was miserable. And by the time we reached Portree, I was struggling to breathe. My husband spoke to the Cuillin Hills hotel staff about how to go about seeing a doctor and they immediately got to helping us out. The desk staff spent over an hour on hold with the NHS to help establish my "temporary resident" status so that we could even get in to see a doctor. They printed out a map with all of the addresses of the nearby...

Incredible level of impeccable luxury personalized svc frm both day and night managers as well as dining staff at their delicious gourmet restaurant. This was hands down one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! Our room was clean, cozy, and full of amenities. Our daily free breakfast was unlike anything we’ve ever experienced so many options and made to order. The dinner was amazing everything was cooked to perfection! The Haggis bon bons are a must try! The staff are incredible, so informative, and so accommodating. This was such a beautiful place, we will definitely be back on our next trip to the highlands.

Really enjoyed the little cabins, everything we needed for a nice night was in the little cabin. The host offered anything we needed from nice conversation at the on site bar, to recommendations for local sites and food. This hotel is about 7 miles onto the Isle after crossing the bridge so after a long day of driving, arriving quickly at the hotel was very pleasant.

Brae Lea is far more than one would expect.
The location is a short walk to the Ferry Terminal at Lochboisdale - yet driving from the north, you feel as if you’re nestled in the foothills of a mountain (because you are).
Rupert is an outstanding host, and he doubles as a 5-Star concierge.
He helped us sort travel and touring arrangements as well as made breakfast and suggested dinner options.
The Brae Lea accommodations are also top drawer.
Clean - efficient - spacious - inviting.
