The room was always cleaned, the spa and pool was amazing but most importantly the staff were so nice and helpful they really made my stay here amazing. They made my girlfriend’s birthday amazing. Some of the people I would never forget is Gede he is an amazing driver and also takes great pictures and very informative with a huge heart. Ari was so helpful she even paid out of pocket for my girlfriend’s birthday cake until I could reimburse her. Last but not least Agus was so helpful and a true gentleman. These are only some of the staffs who’s names I remember but all of them were truly amazing we love you guys and we will be back because of your hospitality.

Our stay was phenomenal and service was above and beyond, we regularly spoke with both Devi and Dewi during our stay and they made a full effort to ensure we had everything we needed. The villas themselves were also very private and clean with everything you need. Location of this stay was also great as it is nearby many restaurants/shops, would absolutely recommend staying here if you’re in Canggu!

Our stay at Astera Resort was amazing! We chose this accommodation for its beautiful and private villa suites as well as its location central to many popular restaurants, shops, beaches, and clubs. We loved that the resort included breakfast during our stay, with an array of delicious food options. Not only did our suite had its own private pool and jacuzzi, but the resort also had its own shared infinity pool with day beds to enjoy the sun and to also cool off. Upon our arrival, the Astera staff has been nothing but accommodating, kind, welcoming, and helpful during our stay! Through the resorts WhatsApp chat the staff answered any arising questions or concerns we had. Special thanks to Devi and Agus for their kind hospitality, but of course our thanks extends to all of the staff members here. I would definitely stay at this resort again when I return to Bali in the near future! I cannot recommend this resort enough.

It was a beautiful resort that was extremely relaxing and accommodating. The room we booked was beautiful and romantic with its private pool and hot tub. All the staff was super helpful and kind. There were lots of yummy dining options just a walk away. A little far from the beach but you could walk the shops first to get there or grab public transport easily. I would definitely recommend and would definitely come back!

Was a bit hesitant on this property as it was 3 km from the beach but the walk there is doable and passes cute restaurants and shops. This property is immaculate. Pure luxury. Private pool and jacuzzi plus another pool for the entire property. Just absolutely stunning.

Hotel looks good on the pictures on Expedia. Unfortunately it felt a bit as a catfish when we arrived. Room was not clean as we found several long black hairs om the floor. This was handled very well by the hotel staff and room was cleaned again right away. State of the room was a bit smudgy as there was a lot of limescale in the shower, leakage in the kitchenette sink, tile falling from the wall, lights turning on in the middle of the night out of nowhere… etc. Except these disappointments we had a good stay and really liked the private pool.

Disappointing Stay at Astera Hotel Canggu My stay at Astera Hotel in Canggu was underwhelming for several reasons. While the property itself has potential, several issues made my experience less than enjoyable. Room Issues: The door to my room had consistent problems, which was frustrating. Breakfast: It was just okay—nothing special. Limited Towels: The hotel provided very few towels, which was inconvenient. Location: The hotel overlooks a construction site, which takes away from any potential scenic views. Safety Concerns: The biggest issue was the dangerous location. Crossing the street daily was treacherous, especially for families. One day, there was a crossing guard at the hotel, but he was completely inattentive, distracted by his phone instead of assisting guests. I had to cross on my own and was nearly hit. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, especially for families or those expecting a safe and well-maintained stay.

I can’t say enough good things about Astera Luxury Resort & Spa in Canggu—it was truly a dream stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Everyone we encountered was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional. Our room was absolutely spectacular—spacious, modern, and impeccably clean. Any time we needed assistance, the front desk team was always quick to respond with a smile. They made everything so seamless, which really set the tone for a relaxing stay. I celebrated my birthday at the resort and treated myself to the flower pool experience, and wow—it was magical! It was everything I hoped for and more, with the flowers perfectly arranged for that extra touch of luxury. I also did the floating breakfast, which was just as beautiful as it was delicious. One of the staff members who set it up even offered to take photos for me, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Those photos will be memories I’ll cherish forever! Breakfast every morning was a highlight—the food was fresh, flavorful, and there was always a great selection. I became a big fan of the resort’s restaurant, Paed Thai—the dishes there were consistently amazing. If you’re looking for the perfect place to stay in Canggu, I couldn’t recommend Astera Luxury Resort & Spa more. From the incredible staff to the stunning amenities, it’s a 10/10 experience. I’m already dreaming of my next visit!
