「Cleaning Staff was friendly, front desk was not overly nice by any means. Although He was prompt to come to the desk when I got there to check in. The room had an unpleasant Odor to it upon walking into it. The bathroom door did not close or open all the way. 「We liked that it was pet-friendly and our room was clean. It was extremely hot due to the A/C being turned off. We only stayed in the room long enough to change clothes, so not sure how long it took to cool the room down, as we were gone for several hours. 「First of all the hotel is part of a run down apartment complex. It smells like mildew and cigarette smoke and the room was dark and dreary and really outdated.」

「The room had roaches. We went to Walmart and bought bug spray and sprayed the entire room. We stayed at the hotel after discovering the bug problem on because it was already checked in and no time to locate another hotel. I would absolutely suggest another hotel until this location gets the bugs under control. The staff was super nice and apologetic of the situation. I did not ask for a correction for the situation they could not help. Hopefully they can fix this issue」

「I booked this property specifically because it had a hot tub. When I arrived, the hot tub was not functional and seemed it hadn't been for awhile. I understand that parts break, but if a property is taking an amenity away for an extended period of time, it should be removed from the listing and those who already booked it should be informed so that the reservation can be cancelled and I could find another place with a hot tub, or choose to keep the reservation knowing there no longer is one...

「There apparently are one or more air conditioners out at the property, and the hallways were Hella hot! I was barely able to get my bags in my room! The door was the heaviest door I've ever opened and I was unable to hold the door open and pull the luggage through at the same time!!! It was awful every time we had to open it. (Go try it yourself!! It's room 404!). A n d here is the kicker..... It a handicapped room! I pray a handicapped person is never assigned that room! Otherwise the room...

「Not sure about pets, as I did not have one. Did not use the spa. The room was very clean. The bathroom was big. I would stay here again. 」

「BarDew Valley Inn and its owner, Perry, were amazing!! The suite decor was fun (ours was a French Chateau), and the common areas beautiful and comfortable. Perry offers a movie room with a huge selection of DVDs, as well as satellite TV in both the common area and each suite. And his breakfast each morning was delicious! We would definitely stay again (and maybe try a different suite!) when we are in that area again.」
