This property has potential with the right corrections and proper property management, but our experience raised serious concerns.We also had a serious issue regarding pricing. We reserved and paid the agreed-upon price, but after booking, the property manager, Luis, stated the price had increased and threatened cancellation if we did not pay the updated amount. Although VRBO told us we were not required to pay more, we felt pressured to avoid losing the reservation. From the moment we arrived, there was a strong and persistent mold, mildew, and sewage odor throughout the unit, along with visible moisture damage and deteriorating drywall. The smell never improved and created unhealthy conditions. We also experienced insect activity in the kitchen and had to clean thoroughly to protect our food. Several advertised amenities were missing, including TVs in two bedrooms.The most concerning issue was unauthorized entry. We were not notified or asked for permission for anyone to enter while we were the current tenants. When we returned, furniture and sleeping arrangements had been changed without our consent, which made us feel unsafe.Health concerns escalated quickly. Seven of nine guests experienced recurring headaches and nausea while inside the unit. We were not able to use the gas to cook breakfast on day 3.In the current conditions, we do not recommend this property for any property to stay. Currently we would give it 0 stars.
