Overlook Oasis! RRG, A-frame Cabin, NEW HOT TUB, Grill! Pet friendly
Our charming A-frame cabin offers a cozy retreat surrounded by towering trees and scenic views, minutes away from Daniel Boone National Forest and hundreds of hiking trails and rock-climbing opportunities all over the area!
With one bedroom and one bathroom, it's the perfect escape for couples, solo travelers, and furry friends seeking tranquility and comfort. The cabin features a rustic yet modern interior, complete with essential appliances and utensils, fresh linens, and a firepit.
Our A-frame cabin boasts a thoughtfully designed layout, featuring a single queen-sized bed in the bedroom with a lamp, high ceilings to allow natural light to filter in, and one bathroom which includes a beautifully tiled walk-in shower, toilet, and sink.
The living area is a welcoming space, characterized by the cabin's signature A-frame architecture and rustic decor. A comfortable pull-out sofa and large screen tv with all your favorite streaming platforms allows guests to unwind peacefully.
The kitchen, although compact, is fully equipped with essential appliances and utensils, allowing guests to prepare simple meals and snacks during their stay.
This cabin is down a gravel road with one portion being very steep. 4wd/AWD and high clearance is highly recommended since the gravel hill is so steep and traction is dependent on factors such as weather, traffic etc. There are two very shallow creek crossings when approaching this cabin.
Wi-Fi is great, but cell service here can be spotty depending on your provider.
Perishables are not provided, nor is firewood.
This cabin utilizes well water and is safe for all uses. Guests are welcome to bring their own drinking water.

The area property can be hard to find but the owner contacted us immediately and helped us find the place. Very cute place. Great for couples or family of 3.
The Cabin is beautiful. It was very clean and the hot tub was perfect. Everything was just as pictured and the balcony offered a great view of the forest. Just be aware that the road to get to it is more SUV/Truck friendly. It requires going on steep gravel road, a car cannot easily come and go. Parking is on a steep gravel incline. Not the property’s fault and the cabin is worth the trip.

They need someone else to give directions to it. It needs a name so you can tell which one is it. It was the most unsafe place i have ever rented. And i have rented from California to Florida even upstate New York. I will not trust vrbo again to rent through. The deck the hot tube set on did not have a back rail on it and you had to go back there to get the lid off. There was no out side lights any where near it. The water was dirty also. When we got there and finally found it the parking area was scary as hell and there isn't much that scares me. There is nothing to stop you if your vehicle gets away from you when parking. The cabin would be the only thing that would stop a vehicle. It is too steep with loose gravel. Also after walking down the first set of steps i stepped on what i thought was a safe plat form and about fell because 2 boards were broke in the middle of it. There is a smoke alarm that has fell off the wall in the bedroom and is just hanging by wires. It will not be a place that i will return to. I can't believe i spent 800 plus on a place like this.

Mixed Review - You get what you pay for
Listing has "New Hot Tub" in it...the hot tub and the supporting deck for it had not been built.
The owner failed to mention this to us, until 24 hours before we showed up. Then asked if we wanted a discount or refund on the stay. We asked for a discount.
Still waiting on that discount to be refunded to my account...
This place is hard to get to, the directions on the listing aern't great.
The listing shows that it sleeps 4....the love seat is barely big enough to fit 1 human on it. Maybe two small children....let's not even talk about how uncomfortable it is.
The bed is a queen, and adequate enough to fit two adults.
There is visible water damage on the door and the indoor paneling outside the shower, where it obvious that whoever owns this was cheap enough to not buy a shower curtain that will go all the way to the base of the shower.
Wifi worked great for the most part, its just a hotspot router to local cell towers.
There was no small table, etc, or additional seating except outside...
The view from the deck outside is the best part of the whole place.
You will need a 4x4/AWD to access this place, there are a ton of deep pot holes.
The parking isnt leveled out...except on one part of the property. Which another user of the house next door was using. You will more than likely have your vehicle facing down hill at an angle. Make sure to set your parking break.
After the discount this place was a little over $100 for me.
It was everything we were looking for to stay in after a full day of hiking. I love how cozy it felt. The hot tub was a huge bonus! We will be back again
