"It’s hard to accurately describe how wonderful Livia’s Villa is, so I’ll offer this comment from a friend who arrived first: “It’s like stepping into a dream.” 15 of us traveled from the US and a few points in Amsterdam to celebrate my husband’s birthday. No one wanted to leave.The property is gorgeous, Livia is an exceptional host, the town and many amenities are close by, and Nonna Maria’s dinner on the first night was wonderful. We’d absolutely come back and are already planning our trip! "

"Location: The house is an hour drive away from Palermo city center. It requires navigation through winding mountain roads that are barely wide enough for one car to pass through with no GPS reception. It is inconvenient to reach even in fair weather, and downright dangerous in the dark or rain.

"Extremely noisy. The live “animation “ outdoor, family friendly entertainment went until 1:00 EVERY night. Price was extra for AC, breakfast, and mandatory fee for beach and pool. Needs to be explained better in description. This is ideal for the family vacation since it is not near any public transportation so must have a rental car to see any of Sicily, but most families stay all day, all night. Not for the travelers who want to explore the island."

"The pool area has the most fantastic panoramic view imaginable with mountains and olive groves all around. The pool is quite small and there is only a single shaded area which is fine if you are only a single family like we were. "Wir hatten einen sehr gemütlichen Urlaub in San Giorgio. Rocco war bei Problemen erreichbar und gab Tipps für den Aufenthalt. Schöner weiter Strand fußläufig zu erreichen mit 2 Bars. Mitte September war es sehr ruhig dort. Leider kein Supermarkt in der Nähe, sodass man mit dem Auto einkaufen gehen muss. "

"2 weeks spent in a fabulous villa with great pool in a peaceful rural location- just what we needed. Shops, restaurants, beaches all near by to visit and explore. Nino looked after us and showed us around the Villa and introduced us to some traditional local cuisine. Would definitely recommend this villa and hope to return again in the future.Martin and Mary are Great hosts.

"We loved this property! The big great room on the ground floor has beautiful arches and looks out over the Main Street. "The house is an independent house, comfortable and good. The beds were good and the kitchen equipment was very complete. "I'm a diamond Hilton guy with lots of time booked @ IHG and Marriott properties that travels extensively in my career globally. We stayed here with friends and family as a wrap up event behind a full week of travel throughout Sicily visiting all of the major cities & sites, then time in Contessa Entellina for an ancestral pilgrimage.
The facilities, pools, beach, spa and staff were all exceptional. Special thanks to Guiseppe in the bar who took exceptional care of us, as well as the staff at the Bistro restaurant who offered exceptional food and service.

"We stayed at Villa Livia for three days and hosted our wedding there. It is beyond amazing, we were in awe of everything. The villa and grounds are 10 times better than the photos show. Every corner of the villa and guest houses are pristine and covered in antique furniture and artwork. The houses and grounds are huge. Our wedding was 20 guests and there was ample space for everyone to stay. The wedding vendors couldn’t believe the space and how perfect it was for a wedding. We had our ceremony under the olive trees in one section of the garden, our cocktail hour by the pool and our dinner on the grass next to the pool. The grounds were so lush that we didn’t even need to leave the villa for our wedding photos. It is truly dreamy. We had one dinner and one brunch catered by Nonna Maria and it was excellent, sooo much food. Livia was helpful and easy to contact. The whole place is pristine clean. Truly perfect and a wedding location dream. Michaela from My Sicily Wedding coordinated the whole thing and would be a perfect contact for anyone thinking to host a wedding in that location. "
