「This was a nice stay. The room was very nice and the jacuzzi in the room was awesome. I also really liked the hot tub and pool. continental breakfast is what you would typically expect (I was a little sad there wasn’t eggs as I saw someone mention they had eggs for breakfast). Overall I would definitely book here again.」

「Invited our family to share Wild West Days with us. We all found this perfectly imperfect cabin to be on a sandy bottom lake, with easy fishing, and fabulous views. The comfort of grandpa’s cabin in every aspect. It was like grandpa was at home and lended you his cabin. It was stocked with the swim trunks you forgot to pack. The shallow lake gets warmer early, go swimming!! The dock is perfect for fishing. The canoe and 2 man paddle boat were perched waiting for us to slip them into the water....

「Overall a great venue. Quiet except for the large barking dog upstairs occasionally. The amenities could use an update. This was supposed to sleep 4 but there was only one hand towel and 2 wash cloths. There were 8 towels that appeared to come from the owner's house after years of use (threadbare). There were only 3 coffee cups and mismatched glasses (4) and silverware. There was 1 kitchen towel. The entry carpet was thin and curled up on the corner creating a safety hazard. 「The Lakeside Getaway was in a great location for a friends trip we planned. We chose it for the size of beds, and number of bathrooms, (3 adult couples' trip) in addition to its location close to our trip event plans. It is in a peaceful quiet neighborhood, and we regretted we could not take advantage of all it had to offer in terms of being near the water. 「We wanted a lakeside Thanksgiving getaway and this was perfect! Cozy, warm and well appointed. Craig, the owner responded quickly and was very helpful with the questions we had. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable and there is a nice supply of linens. We enjoyed the nearby Grams Park trails and Sand Dune Park trails for walking with our pups.
