「My husband and I stayed at the lovely cottage in Grassington. It was just ideal for us. We really did not use the kitchen much as there were so many nice options for breakfast and lunch in town. Everything was easy walking distance including access to lovely hiking trails just a short wander not far from the unit’s front door. Everything was very comfortable & immaculate. Would definitely return. 」

「This is a lovely cottage in the middle of Grassington. Parking is a bit tight but manageable. The cottage is lovely, beds and sofas are comfortable. TV is excellent with an on demand selection. It was a bonus to have a secluded garden. Perfect for when the sun is out. It was clean (with the exception of a few cobwebs on the wall) and felt very homely. It was a quiet and peaceful place to stay and we would happily return.」

「A really comfortable and charming property. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. The bed was also good (even for me with a bad back). The location is superb - in a quiet valley, an easy walk to Bolton castle and just a stroll to Aysgarth waterfalls. As a map will show, really close to Wensley and Leyburn with nice pubs. Juliet and David were very friendly hosts (as were the sheep).」

「Very pretty and had all we needed for self catering. Maybe a baking sheet, smaller saucepan and a baking dish would have been useful - not a big deal!Lovely to be next to the beck, loads of birds to watch and interesting places to visit.Drive from The Tan Inn to Hawes not for the faint hearted, narrow and very steep.Noticed a funny mark in the oven which I couldn't clean so emailed the office and someone came the next day to clean it - excellent. 「This was our 2nd stay in Carr House. It’s a great home with fantastic outside space. We love Kirkby Lonsdale and visit at least once a year. We have stayed in many properties all of which have been lovely in their own way. Carr House is our favourite though. Great experience from communication with Clare and ease of check in and check out. We hope to return again! 」

「We had a wonderful five night stay in Newbiggin. Phil could not have been more helpful and accessible.Westbrook House was beautifully clean and well equipped. We were blessed with incredible weather and sitting outside the cottage enjoying the peace and quiet with a glass of wine was just perfect.Excellently situated for walks and other local delights.Cannot recommend highly enough - thank you Phil」

「Beautiful cottage on the edge of the Lake District. Great location as it’s a short drive to most popular Lake District attractions. Stunning scenery and spacious cottage make for a relaxing getaway. Kev welcomed us when we arrived and recommended places to visit including the local pub for pizza which was lovely! 100% recommend this cottage for anybody looking to visit the Lake District. The hot tub was a luxurious bonus which helped us relax after a long day of hiking. 」

「right up our street , the landlady is brilliant and wish i got to now her better . and we will go back for another visit ,but have to stay a bit longer. brilliant for walking ,plenty of info inside comfy cottage, felt compleetly chilled when we left and looking forwards to another visit .」

「Fantastic find. Lovely views. We were blessed with new born lambs to watch. It's quiet apart from a variety of bird song, lovely. Each pod is labelled and has a discrete fencing/ stone wall for privacy. The hut itself was clean and in great condition and a good temperature. Perfect size for a couple. There is a double sofa bed for 2 more, but that would be extremely cosy. Kitchen area is fine for self catering.
