We stayed here for 4 nights in April and were left disappointed. The room was not clean upon arrival; there were hairs on the bathroom floor. Additionally, the shower never got hot and didn’t drain properly, coming close to overflowing. There was also no bin in the room, other than the sanitary bin in the bathroom. The TV remote was hidden in the safe, and it had no batteries in it. The air conditioning didn’t work, so the room was uncomfortably hot, even for this time of year. The rooms had no soundproofing, so we could hear everything happening on the landing near our room all through the night. The Wi-Fi also didn’t work.
Furthermore, the service was terrible. We were awoken on our first morning at 9 am by a workman banging on the door and demanding to be let in, but he couldn’t explain why he needed access. After our first night, housekeeping never cleaned our room, even though we left by 9:30 each day and didn’t return until 4:30 pm. Even when we left the “Please clean my room” sign on the door, it was still not cleaned. On our last night, we were awoken at 8:25 am by housekeeping trying to enter the room to clean, even though they knew we would be checking out that morning.
Half of the amenities listed on Expedia were also not in operation during our stay, such as the rooftop bar and hot tubs. There was no spa as advertised, just a gym and sauna. This should be made clear when booking.
