"We stayed in the Viri Suite, which is part of La Lipa Suites. This was a 2-bedroomed, 2-bathroom, kitchen suite (m/wave, stove top, w/m, d/w, fridge/freezer, etc). Wifi and Smart TV. All air-con and ceiling fan. Accommodation was clean, modern and spacious. Beds were comfortable, and bed linen was fresh and looked lovely. Terrace was adequate size and appropriately furnished, although the view was limited. Occasional passers-by were friendly and weren't noisy or intrusive. We could have meals on...

Hotel Torremar – Mares

10/10 Excellent

"First time staying in a hotel in Torre del Mar although we have been visiting the area for 34 yrs. Very clean hotel, functioning 2 lifts, never a long wait. Staff extremely helpful, an ideal no fuss stay. Great location in this lovely small bustling seaside town especially if you don’t want to walk far to the excellent restaurants, tapas bars, cafes. The impressive promenade and beach are just 2 minutes walk away and the surrounding pedestrianised areas have a variety of small independent shops. We stayed for San Juan fiesta in a room overlooking the front entrance. Noise wasn’t a problem for us even if you do count the seagulls! Expect to park free a fair distance away from the hotel in Summer as the population grows or pay for hotel parking, I think €20 per day? Nearby blue zone parking payment was confusing but it could have been lost in translation. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay and would visit again."

It's the perfect place to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway."

"Rooms are high end with a luxury but local welcoming atmosphere evident from minute one. Great location for both the beach and shopping and very walkable. Mattress a bit hard but room is quiet and secluded. Jose helped us with the bags and was always with a great welcoming smile. Highly recommend stay in Malaga."

"The hotel was excellent - breakfast was fabulous both cooked and buffet available. Rooms were clean and spacious with fabulous view over the marina and up to the castle The one thing I would say the hotel is lacking is a roof top bar / drinks available at the pool even for a soft drink you have to go downstairs to the front bar . Also a snack bar would be very accommodating even just for fruit or a bowl of fries !! The views from the pool are stunning and definitely would recommend the hotel. The steep walk up and down to Malaga centre is not for the faint hearted or infirm a taxi / uber would be more acceptable!!!"
