I took advantage of the spa and had an incredible massage. Gorgeous views of the ocean right out your window and the multiple pools to cool off in with the heat. Swimming beaches were a short drive away if you wanted to swim in the ocean."

"We traveled in October. It was an amazing view and experience to be in the middle of nature. Saw monkeys right from the beautiful deck. So natural and peaceful. Amazing It sleep 5 however it’s one room, a dome house. We thought it was 2 bedroom from description. It’s luxury camping. Just amazing. Beautiful beach. Tree top views. NEED 4x4 to get to this specific dome house. WILL GO AGAIN. Super happy."

"We had a wonderful stay here! The condo was immaculate and in a great location. A short walk to the gradual beach, so we got to enjoy the ocean. We saw many scarlet macaw, so beautiful and howler monkeys in the trees next to the restaurant. Would recommend a stay here to anyone looking for a place in Paquera."

"Villamarunga was an exceptional property. The deamlike tropical setting was beyond expectations. Javier and Yorleny by extension went to all ends to guarantee our stay was truly dreamy. They are the consummate care takers communicating throughout our stays just to make sure my group was checked on for anything we could possibly desire.The property has all the amenities a villa could offer while experiencing not a single problem or encountered issue. Tango Mar is a tropical paradise as we had monkeys, macaws, iguanas and whales to view on a daily basis. We intend to begin our next Costa Rica trip with a stay at Villamarunga."

"The property is beautiful, Tomas is incredibly helpful and passionate, comfy bed, nice pools, yummy breakfast (bread/ jellies, coffee/tea, juice, fresh fruits, eggs) & close to beaches and Bioluminescent tour in secluded area so plenty of nature to enjoy. The entrance sidewalk is steep so wear hiking/tennis shoes not sandals/ heels, Tomas did offer to help us bring our bags up which was nice but just be aware it may not be accessible for everybody. There is no in room coffee maker (provided at breakfast) or television but great wifi so I was able to stream Disney on my device when I wanted & it allows you more time to enjoy nature, also the fridge in the room was pretty big and you can flush toilet paper down toilet and there was a clothes hanger on the porch which came in handy for our wet clothes, I did not see a safe in room, and it was helpful to have a 4x4 vehicle to get there. My only complaint is the AC didn't get quite cold enough (but that was a pretty common theme in CR with the humidity at the end of May), there was a fan in the room which helped and I was able to still sleep comfortably. Tomas did offer laundry service for $8 which was very helpful because we had a load of dirty/wet clothes- they washed, dried and had them folded in our room when we got back that evening. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend the property, amenities & staff!! Thank you Tomas for your hospitality."
