「Id like to start by saying that the home itself is beautiful. It is perfectly intimate and so close to the river, which is an added bonus. We had a few hiccups in our stay, including no water due to busted water lines upon arrival. The host was helpful in addressing and fixing this problem, however it took over 12 hours which was not ideal. 「Would definitely recommend. The Midge is a super cute cabin. It was very clean and the fire pit was a definite plus. With the porch lights off you can see a gazillion stars. No views like that in the city. The walking trails are great and go right by the river and its always fun to ride up to the dam where it feels like you're on top of the world. May stay here again on my next visit home.」

「The cabin was nice and well equipped but the driveway was impossible to get up. Not sure we would have been able to get up the driveway in better circumstances, but it was a complete sheet of ice and one person in our party got stuck halfway up in a jeep. We had to park at the bottom on a sheet of ice, which someone slipped on, and bring our stuff up the 5 mins hike it took (I timed it) with our luggage. This should have been communicated before our stay, but it was not.」
