"Our room and ensuite bath were clean, as was the lobby. However, our check-in was less than welcoming, but other staff seemed friendly. I put down the initial clerk as being overwhelmed by a full house (77 rooms) the previous night in conjunction with a hot air balloon festival. She also said she was short-staffed since one of her two maids had gone home sick. When I came down with strep throat a few days later, I wondered if I'd picked up there. "No bath mat, slick floor, no place to place cosmetics in the bathroom, should at least have a small table for that purpose."
