「upon arrival we realised the property wasn't what we'd booked. our booking was two bedrooms and two bathrooms and this only had one of each - there were four of us, ready to make food and settle in for a quiet night ahead of competing in our sport the next day. the owner wouldn't answer his phone and was unhelpful. whilst the property was clean, it was freezing and not ready for people staying there - the ned was made up but there were no towels in the bathroom and the kitchen was brand new and...

「More a self catering flat than an hotel however We were happy with it. It is in the suburbs of St Helens a distance from the town centre. St Helens Junction train station is about 5 mins walk, and a good little cafe for breakfast less than 2 mins walk. The area was quiet at night and there are a couple of local shops equally close for such things as milk for drinks.We used it as a base to explore the area hence we only used the kettle and the wifi. Would be happy to use again.」
