"I chose this location because it was right on the water, and pet friendly, prerequisites for our vacation choice. The house is beautiful inside; clean, roomy, and perfect for our family size and gathering. We were celebrating my 70th birthday, and it could not have been a more memorable experience. "We stayed here for the second time because I find it so enjoyable. The view is beautiful and it’s only about 15 minutes from UVM. A perfect place for a small group (if you can do stairs). It’s an older cottage with a lot of character; mismatched dishes, small stove/oven, slightly uneven floors, fun knickknacks everywhere, beautiful views of Mallett’s Bay, and lots of windows. Gordon and Beverly are super nice and easy to chat with."

"We had a wonderful experience at this farmhouse location with easy access to mutiple surrounding attractions. Jessica greeted us with a smile upon arrival. She and her husband, Chad proved to be a most pleasant and accommodating couple. The rental was dutch clean, and there was plenty of amenities on site. The bed was quite comfortable and the property was quiet. We recommend this rental for anyone interested in visiting the area."

"This is a beautiful house in a idylic location. Our three couples had a comfortable, enjoyable stay - stunning sunsets, water access and nearby bike trails. We are giving five stars because of the property. We should take off points for the manager, but were so impressed with both the home and the location, it would not be fair the owners to present anything less than five stars. "The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that."

"This house is exactly as described. The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again."
