We were told we had been upgraded, our room was large and comfortable with an extra bed and sofa. "A grade II listed property in a historical part of Shepton Mallet. Took time to read up on the area, would recommend everyone to do that, very interesting. Comfortable bed, clean room and great hosts. Some noise from the road adjacent to the Inn, not a deal breaker. Would I stay here again Yes. "

"Not a traditional B&B, but a spare room with private bathroom in the host's house. David was very friendly and welcoming. His house is spotlessly clean and our room was well equipped with lots of space Our bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and clean. Breakfast was a nice touch, with David accommodating our needs/wants without skipping a beat. Definitely consider staying here, but book in advance as the room goes quickly."

"After a long journey we were met by Liam, who promptly prepared us tea and cake to have in the courtyard, which was so welcome. He booked a table at the local pub for us and really looked after us for the duration of our stay. The historic building is quirky, beautifully appointed and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it. We stayed in the Sheppey room, which is large and very comfortable, Roll top bath and walk in shower are great. Spotlessly clean. Excellent breakfast. A real little gem...

"I have stayed here twice before. The welcome from Lyndon is great. The breakfast is freshly cooked and plenty of it. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom was clean. However the wardrobe was in need of repair and the fridge had old food in it. The bedside cabinets had a layer of dust but I base my review on comfort and hospitality "
