Hotel property was very clean. While breakfast wasn’t included you did get a $10 coupon for each day you were there so that helped. We ate dinner two nights in the restaurant and it was good! Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The coffee machines on each floor are such a nice touch and the coffee is tasty! The rooms are clean, and astetically pleasing. The artwork in the rooms are eye catching with the local lake champlain vibe. This was our second time staying at Hotel Champlain in the last couple years and will return the next time we're in town.

My only critique for the decor or rather the ambiance would be the lighting in common areas was too bright! I so wanted to locate the dimmer switch. Other than that the hotel layout was well thought out and the location was excellent! We look forward to our next stay!

The hotel does not have security during the day. We were sitting in the mezanie level and there were beggers asking for money. I called the front desk they said they would call maintenance to check it out. I don't feel they should have to do this task. The sheets were itchy. They do not have coffee in the room, they have a coffee station in each hallway. I prefer the coffee in the room. The staff was professional.
