Bathroom in room smelled like a porta potty and the room had a foul odor. Desk receptionist talked on personal call in speaker phone the whole check in process and said 5 words to me during check in.

This is an older property along a major thoroughfare. The room and grounds were clean, and all of the essentials were present. The front desk staff was amazing.
