"Overall our stay was enjoyable. The pools were beautiful, and the adults-only areas were peaceful and relaxing. One of the highlights of our stay was the pool waiter, who was incredibly attentive and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Our butler, Andres, was also outstanding—always friendly, smiling, checking in to see if we needed anything, and making us feel well taken care of. The food was decent, although it wasn’t particularly memorable. One disappointment was the lack of communication from the staff about the amenities and activities available at the resort. We often felt like we had to figure things out on our own rather than being informed of everything the resort had to offer. The beach was beautiful, but there were only a limited number of chairs and palapas. If you didn’t arrive early in the morning, it was nearly impossible to find a shaded spot to relax. Another drawback was that the elevators were not air-conditioned, which made them uncomfortable, especially in the heat. The bead sheets were a little rough to the skin as well. While there were definitely aspects of the resort that we appreciated—especially the adults-only spaces and the exceptional service from our butler and pool waiter—the overall experience wasn’t as luxurious or polished as we had expected. A positive is that it is centrally located to the port where the boating activities depart from and the malecón area. Uber rides were only a couple of dollars for each."

"We loved the people and facilities, except for these minor details: After checking in, they ask you to speak with an employee who is supposedly there to help you collect your luggage (which they initially place on a bellhop cart) and guide you to your room. However, this person is actually a salesperson. Before you know it, you’re being offered “complimentary” gifts and activities “for hotel guests” and subtly pressured into scheduling a timeshare presentation. They make it feel like this is simply the next step in the in the check-in process and that they’re helping you get to your room and luggage, but that’s not the case -it felt very sneaky. We booked four rooms, three of them with an ocean view, but only one actually had a view of the ocean. After wasting time with the initial sales pitch and being exhausted from traveling and sleep-deprived, we simply accepted the rooms we were given. We didn’t have the energy to go back downstairs and spend even more time trying to resolve the issue. The bathroom design offers very little privacy. The bathroom “walls” are made of frosted glass, so family can still see your silhouette while you’re using the toilet or taking a shower. In my opinion, it’s a poor design choice. The rooms also had a very strong humidity smell. It was somewhat overpowering -could be uncomfortable for people with sensitive noses. Nonetheless, the facilities are nice, and all of the employees we interacted with were VERY kind and friendly. I loved that!"

"Perfect spot for family vacation with little children. Hotel is well maintained and very clean. All staff were very friendly. Only get club room for couple only. Loved breakfast buffet. I was not impressed with Mexican restaurant or dinner option. But the Italian and Asian were good food. Would prefer to have also buffet dinner."
